I think the P stands for Prehistoric - its only got two HDMI's and its not even 1080p.

Was just about to post when my Firefox crashed. >.> Anyway, yeah. This is a very old model. Don't waste your money. If it's not full HD (1080p) in 2009, don't buy it.

No, different letters represent the level of spec.

Usually, the higher the letter the better, with X being 'top of the range'. :thumbsup:
