I wonder wether 5 or 3 year warrantys are a waste of money if your buying a decent brand lcd, and if it aint broke on delivery, I dont think ive heard a single instance of them dyin over 3 to 5 years

That's a better bet IMO for the sake of £4 [discounts won't show until checkout process] with free delivery and no hassle - which I usually experience with any Richers purchase!

Are you sure.../

When i went through to checkout, on the very last page where you click place order it states that estimated despatch date will be 7th January. Nothing about being out of stock.

I wonder if it is area related.

Currys will giv 10% extra differnce.

comet/currys will only match instore pirces?

Richer sounds instore price is now on.

Know1 hardly matches online prices anyway. You can tell them the price you saw was instore. As Richer sounds are now putting their new sale prices on their tv.

Ummm. I don't think so! Check out this Sky News report of an announcement made by $ony at the end of November [and remember that the disparity on currency values has widened further since] http://news.sky.com/skynews/Home/video/uk-pound-recession-retailers-wilson/Video/200811315158210?lpos=video_Article_Related_Content_Region_1&lid=VIDEO_15158210_uk_pound_recession_retailers_wilson Yes, I know there is an annoying advert first, but still worth the watching...

Another link http://uk.gizmodo.com/2008/12/04/sony_raises_uk_prices_by_up_to.html

I thought this announcement by Sony was now common knowledge? I have also seen several other reports mentioning LG, Samsung and Panasonic amongst others considering the same course of action. [have a 'google']

In this report, Panasonic have downscaled their figures for next year by a whopping 97%! http://www.marketwatch.com:80/News/Story/Story.aspx?guid=%7B71A6960B-ABA1-47BD-A4B0-736F3F7C26D2%7D
