You can get 100 DVD's for £12.99. Probably cheaper if you looked. Is this a good price for CD's?

Probably similar/same mfg costs so cdr's prices will never appear good value against dvd's.

Its not a particularly good price anyway. Whowever paid £27.40 for these must have been off their heads!

I use SVP. These are good as the surface is quite hard.

http://www.svp.co.uk/99p-shipping-section/geeks-overprint-80min-52x-cd-r-in-cellowrap-pack-of-100-discs_geek-01001.html

£5.99 however delivery is extra, it's worth looking round for discount vouchers for SVP. Basically if you can get 100 52x cdrs for under £10 delivered you're doing quite well

It's a thing you put in a "CD player" - something millions of people have in their homes and cars, even if they wouldn't dream of having a "computer".

Sony Scmony - looks like John Cleese's adverts are still convincing people there's something special about the company even after all these years.

Still, at least they've dumped their silly Memory Sticks from their phones - at last.

If people don't think these discs are a good deal then they can buy some cheapo riteks with possibly fake media ID codes and vote the deal cold...................simple as

For people who prefer/like Sony cds then i believe this is a good price and would welcome anyone to post a cheaper deal.

Can this be unexpired please because this product is still available.

It's the assumption that if it's got Sony stamped on it's good which is the dangerous one to make.

Who made that assumption ?

I think you're making assumptions that nobody but youself knows anything..........hence the john cleese comment.

Yes i think these are good discs and yes i think this is a good price but when have i said that " if it's got Sony stamped on it's good".

Sony make some excellent quality products and maybe some not so good products but your "assumption" is incorrect.
I've simply posted a deal stating that this particular Sony product represents good value for money and can't be purchased cheaper anywhere else as far as i'm aware.
Regardless of whether you think Sony cdrs are any good or not it is still a good price compared to other stores.

You need to stop assuming peoples assumptions ;-)

So you admit that Sony can make rubbish, and yet these discs are still good value for no other reason than that they have Sony printed on them? How peculiar.

I haven't said these discs are not good value. In fact, if they work, it's a great deal. But the label on them is not evidence that they are reliable in the slightest. For instance, as someone else asked: what dye?

No "assumptions" needed - your statement was quite plain and by all means keep wriggling, but you can't change that. If you meant "the brand has nothing to do with it" while saying "its [sic] a good price for SONY CD's imo which is why i posted the deal " then perhaps you could have expressed yourself a little better. :)

You seem to incorrectly interpret and assume things and then say its because i haven't expressed myself correctly.

Sony use various manutacturers so its impossible for me to know where each batch was made but its possible they could be TY or MCC.

I can't be bother to continue with this because you are obviously trying to twist my words.

They are a good deal for SONY CDRs because you can't buy them for less anywhere ............end of.

Byeeeeeeeeee:whistling:
