Good!

I just need a car now...

This is usually £60 elsewhere, so dont go thinking it is anything special. The 10% helps.
#4
Are the screens easy to see in daylight?
#5
Can anyone tell me how many pre-outs this has?
#6
this is normal price. I'm amazed how Hafords get away with it ('was £139')
#7
Was on sale for 1 week in September at £139

give it a few years and i don't think many cars will be able to take this standard size , real pain cars now come with different size head units now :(
#11
Bought this last week for a few quid more, works pretty well sounds nice and is easy to set up.
#12
Old model, nothing special by today's standards. No USB, no bluetooth, no ipod connection, no DAB. Still good basic radio though
#13
Great deal. Got one myself a couple of weeks ago. Its Sony, has a good amp, good screen and all the features I needed. Didn't need to spend hundreds of pounds on one.

how easy to fit in a mondeo? will it slot straight in or are extra connectors needed etc?
#19
You wont need anything it comes with the connectors to get old stereo out plus comes with a ISO connector so just plug the 2 connectors into that . Well worth the money comes with remote and usb cable and aux cable :)

Aye, for £ 39.99 its a good price - BUT, who wants to go round with a car stereo from Lidl? Might have well have a neon sign on top of the car saying "my life is sad" (would use more stronger lingo, but not sure if it is accepteable on here lol)
#22
yes but who cares if your one of those sad people that need makes names etc then be it but who cares you can and waste your money in life mate .

does it mean your cool if you have a kenwood then ? or Ministry Of sound
no it doesnt if u wanna save money and dont care then get it . I have only got them for USB use as dont use cds and its alot cheaper :)

@peter_griffen
the way I see it, so long as it does the job, who cares........and it's from Aldi, not Lidl
think I may buy one of them as it's less money & a 3year warranty - forget label snobbery

but, each to their own and all that

I agree its like saying i wouldnt drive a ford i only drive a merc ? Well ok yes if you wanna show off and be a stuck up person blasting your KENWOOD out then asking them to step in your car and say ohh my god you have a kenwood thats so so sad . Anyone could go and waste money on lables which we have all done but whats the point they all do the same job . I have one and its great even better than my top of the range kenwood infact :whistling:

The wheel controls on my Rover 45 don't work with it, but I had to buy a wiring adaptor to fit mine and I noticed that 3 of the wires on the original connector are unconnected through the adaptor, these could be for the wheel controls so if yours uses a standard connector they may work.
