I'm struggling to get the voucher to work..

may be because the code is for appliances over £150 not a mixture of item categories....I may be wrong but something I spotted a minute ago myself

what does it say? is your total minus delivery over £150?

Not sure what the difference is - the same image is used as on Play.. but Amazon has similar product for £124.96

There are a few differences:
50 watts instead of 100 watts
No USB playback and direct recording from CD
Not sure if there are any others.
A £25 pound saving if you are not interested in the above I guess :-). Useful to some I'm sure, good find.

hot but DAB is a flop! also no MP3 playback over USB?

I think what it is saying is the extra codecs (AAC & WMA) only play from USB - MP3 will be supported from USB as well as from an MP3 CD

Shame it doesnt have digital in - otherwise would have gone for this!

Are you sure? I've followed this on a price comparison site that compare prices (Dixons included) as well as other retailers over a 90 day period.

This model - CMT-BX70DBI touched £99.99 at end of last year and looks very similar to this one. The BX70 has the ipod dock integrated on the top of the unit. Sound wise it is an inferior product to this one, the HX80 Dab.

Definitely the cheapest this has been as far as I can see, so IT IS a bargain IMHO.

The description on the Sony website states:

32-bit S-Master digital amplifier delivers 150W crystal clear CD quality sound

Not 100W as stated on the Sainsbury link.

. .But if you look in the technical spec, you will see it says:

Power Output: RMS (W) 2 x 50 W

It seem it really does only playback WMA and AAC files through USB......I've got 2gb of mp3's!

I've ordered one. Have been looking out for one of these for ages.
:)

it plays mp3 from my usb memory stick (2gb). It won't recognize my mains powered external harddrive (500gb) or either of my usb powered external harddrives (30gb and 60gb). Or my sony mp3 player. Very disappointing.
Haven't decided if I'm keeping it yet.

It doesn't support NTFS. If you reformatted the external drive as FAT it might work. I've no idea why your MP3 player does not work.

Anyone know if you can record to usb with this?

I'm after recording the radio now and again. You can record to disc or Usb is that right?

Please get back.
