Thats odd - I find the night time use better than other cameras I have had - especially the video, really picks up things in low level light that my other cameras cant. I usually just use the automatic settings, but perhaps Im doing something differently.

i find nite time mode takes a longer exposure - so all my pics are blurred :(

Thanks for the tip-off. I was looking at buying a new camera yesterday - and along comes this one...

Just purchased and can't wait to play with it... I loved my Cybershot 3.2 megapixel on my Sony Erricson K800i phone - so a whole 5 megapixels should do just nicely.

Also - this phone elsewhere is at least £159.99 in places like PC World and John Lewis - and £169.00 in Argos (http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/5590924/Trail/searchtext%3ESONY+CYBER-SHOT+W130.htm)

Great!

No - it uses Memory Stick Duo / Pro

This one is cheap on Amazon http://www.amazon.co.uk/SanDisk-4GB-Memory-Stick-PRO/dp/B000F2WMT0/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1215432334&sr=1-4

It's about £50 in Argos.

It's even cheaper on eBay

They are both very good for the type of camera that they are.

I would tend to go with the 8MP version of the Cybershot in another HUKD thread, because the lower sensor density will make for better image quality, particularly in lower lighting conditions.

Still a very good eal though.

how does this compare to the W90? Both 8.1mp cameras, both HD, double anti-blur.

Just asking as I have a W90 - great camera overall. paid £125 in december though so not sure how chep this is unless it has some kick ass feature that the W90 doesnt have.
