Product Description
Its packed full of features, easy to use and great to look at; its the Cyber-shot DSC-W130 from Sony! This camera comes with an 8.1-megapixel sensor, meaning you can enlarge images to A3 format without any loss in detail, and a Carl Zeiss lens with a 4x optical zoom for perfect colour and detail rendering. For clear, sharp photos in all circumstances, the Cyber-shot DSC-W130 includes an optical image stabiliser and amazingly responsive sensitivity of up to 3200 ISO, which is ideal for shooting with one hand and in low lighting conditions. Got one of these when Amazon were doing them for £108 and PC World were price matching + 10% difference. Great bit of kit and a great price

There's a video in this review: http://www.dcresource.com/reviews/sony/dsc_w130-review/index.shtml

Looks to be pretty decent quality, will be getting this.

I know it says it performs well in low light conditions but id like to see some night shots taken with this camera if anyone can provide.

Got this in pink (well it's not mine) but yeah anyway it's very easy to use. For someone like me who has very little knowledge and experience of cameras it's a great purchase.

Good post rayman, rep added :-)

Looking for camera at the moment to replace a disappointing Canon Ixus that can't seem to take decent pictures indoors, even with decent light - just seem to come out blurry :-(

Have read a few reviews regarding this, but would be interested in any owners views of this, the Sony DSCT2W or the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FS3.

Anyone now how decent this is for close ups (macro)? - cant see anything in the technical details but may have missed it.

Great price. Points if you go via Nectar too.

That's interesting as I have a W130 and a Canon IXUS 60. I find the Canon beats this hands down despite being only 6mp. The Sony seems quite grainy and the video seems to have a lower frame rate than the IXUS.

hey, firstly, great deal...im just about to order but im having difficulty adding both the camera and case at once with the total amount not being deducted by the price of the case.

has anyone else had the same difficulty?

cheers

What kind of card does this use? I have SD cards lying around would prefer a camera that uses an SD card.

Also, has anybody taken night-shots with this? I particualarly, take nights shots often (parties, indoor stuff, etc) and would prefer a camera that can do that well.

Also, has anybody used Ricoh R7? How would it compare with this one? I have heard R7 takes grainy pictures at night - can anybody refute or confirm that?a

Thanks

Robie.
