No optical in, so not very good if you want to connect a PS3 or 360.

No optical on this version, this is suppose to replace the 260 which did have an optical input... why they would take away an input such as optical I have no idea.

This is an all-in-one system so don't expect the versality of an AV amp.
Can't vote hot any system based on an obsolete DVD though
and please don't tell me it upscales to a "near HD quality" as this is simply not true

Not expecting an AV amp but at least ONE optical in is a very common requirement......

Just be aware that Panasonic all in ones won't decode DTS from external (optical connection) sources.

So if you hook up a BluRay player/PS3 etc.. you won't get DTS audio through this.
