#3
Smoking hot. £360 is the cheapest elsewhere.
#4
looks hot when I did a froogle search.

I'm just concerned about the resolution. Is this good bad or average ?

Well my mini dv camcorder packed in a few months back and needed a new one. I was looking for a bargin hd ne and this fits the bill and is a proper bargain. I have ordered one already.

Thanks.

This model has no viewfinder only the fold out LCD which makes it hard to film in bright light despite what people tell you!

If anyone is interested I wouldnt hang around too long as it says there are only 10 left and ebuyers stock system is not always right.
#8
Now out of stock :-(
#9
mmm out of stock!

Hi, This seems to be an absolute bargain. Hope that this isn't a pricing error on the eBuyer web-site for those who want to order. Quantity shows 10 on the product page but 7 on the shopping basket page. Confusing.

Voted hot!.
#11
It did make the ebuyer newsletter so I doubt it would be a misprice because you'd think they check that.

My order is at the payment taken stage. Anybody else manage to bag one?
#12
Would check reviews, I know HDD recording in camcorders isnt rated too highly..........but at this price who cares!
#13
i have just call ebuyer they have told me that this item has been discontinued.
#14
Did anyone who ordered one recieve it yet? Mine has just arrived and the seal was broken and a new ebuyer seal stuck over it. No protective covers were on the screen and it has obviously been opened as the screen was grubby.

There was no mention of it being anything but brand new. Opinions of what to do please?

I have powered it on and it has some video on it too in what sounds like polish filmed in a uk dixons/currys store! So this is not new, where do I stand as I do not think they have any more?

Anyone?

I phoned ebuyer and at first the lady was very un heplfull. I told them that they supplied a used item that shoud have been new. She said sorry but had no more in stock and would not supply an alternative unless I paid the extra.

I told them they broke the terms of the contract and after being on hold they offered me a 50% discount for it being a used item.

I eventually accepted as apart from 2 videos filmed in a store it seems fine and as new. So once the refund has gone back on my card it will have been £84.50 inc delivery so as long as it all works ok it will be a real bargain!

I have received mine. It is in the same condition as yours with the ebuyer seal and finger prints on touchscreen but no videos stored on it.

Is it worth me phoning ebuyer?

Looks to me as if they are trying it on selling a used item as new and hopeing nobody complains due to the price of them.

I would call them and complain also and see if they offer the same 50% discount. Do not give in to them as they sld something missleading and did not state they were used so they broke the terms and conditions.

Mine seems to be physically ok and seems to work ok too and is currently charging.

I asked for a new replacement or equivilent sending but offered the discount in the end. We shall see how long it takes them to issue it or if they need chasing up.

Will try phoning them. Wish me luck.
#20
Anyone else get one in the same condition?
#21
Bought one with seal broken and ebuyer security sticker on it. Not happy as its definately been a return or something like that! Not sure what to do.
#22
What sort of condition is it in Aztech786?

I'm waiting on an email from ebuyer to let me know whats going on. Was told I'd get a reply today but never happened. Chase them tomorrow I guess.
#23
I have thoroughly checked mine and is cosmettically perfect. I have also done a few short shots with it and transfered them to my media pc and it works fine and movie quality is pretty good.

So as long as my 50% refund gets put back on my card I am happy enough as at £87.50 it is a bargain even for a return/refurb. That aside though it does not excuse them selling something obviously used/refurb advertised as new, very naughty indeed! But I do not think ebuyer have the highest morals in the business anyhow.

This is one case you should report to the trading standards this is highly illegal and breaks the "sale of goods act" completely I would suggest you contact Ebuyer and tell them this and unless you get adequate compensation you will pursue the matter as Ebuyer have not got a leg to stand on in this particular case.

Won't they just ask that you send it back and get a refund if pushed too hard?

Well I did not push them too hard but stood my ground. I told them they entered into a contract to supply a new camera as stated when they debited my credit card and I did not want a refund.

I asked for a new one or a replacment of equivelant quality. They said they had no more in stock and if I wanted an alternative I had to pay extra. I refused and they quotd the terms and conditions and I replied that they had already broken them by supplying a used item.

I asked if they were getting anymore in stock and while she checked with some guy I was kept on hold. Once she returned she told me he was away from his desk but as an alternative they could offer a 50% discount as it was used. They obviously knew they were used or they would not have agreed with me so quickly and would ask for it returning to be checked.

They are a very dodgy outfit indeed.

I just recieved my refund so it cost me £87.50 in total which is pretty good even if it is an ex demo as its as new and works fine.

Just got off the phone to ebuyer and they wont give me a discount. They said if I dont want it then I should return it.
#29
Hi, Very unhappy. Managed to buy one of these even though the web-site was saying varying stock levels including 'out of stock/discontinued' and, as other customers have said on this forum thread eBuyer have sold ex-demo/grubby kit advertised as brand-new. Very unhappy. Does nothing for customers confidence in buying from companies selling ex-demo kit as brand new.

eBuyer must think that people do not notice these things.
