Bought one yesterday. Great camcorder for the money. Was posted on here a few weeks ago for about £140, so looking like a bargain. Local availability may be an issue but there's one or two left dotted around local to me so worth a look.

Spare batteries available for about £12 if you look around online, but the battery supplied appears to last about 3 hours if the battery meter is to be believed.
good price for this. im no camera expert so is it worth getting a good cheap sd camera or pay a lot more for a hd camera?
stock left in flint - too far from me :(

I had to make the same decision, but when I realised the difference in price between something like this which takes decent footage indoors as well as outdoors, and an HD cam that does decent indoor filming, I decided that unless I wanted to be serious about amateur film making, rather than making films of family and holidays etc, the HD equivalent was far too expensive.

Some small HD cams get good reviews for about £70 but they all fail quite badly when filming indoors in normal light conditions. Having tried this camera out myself, I can say it takes very good footage indoors as well as out.
great price - thanks - heat added ;)

Thanks. I beat you to it by a few minutes. :)

Should have posted it last night really, but only realised how cheap it was when I saw it on a 3 week old thread on here for £25 more.
