Bought these from Play a while back. http://www.hotukdeals.com/item/228236/sony-dr-bt22ik-bluetooth-headphones/showthread.php?t=228236&page=9 Really good, works with the Touch no probs, worth reading the posts from this link.

might worth gettin it just for the transmitter as some sites sell it for around £30
#3
Can I ask which Asda is that?? Cheers
#4
Connects to most Bluetooth enabled phones to
#5
nice i saw there was a later post saying about VAT free week-end do you think these will be included because it said VAT free on electricals :D
#6
Good buy, the headphones alone are £30 (lowest price on Google Shopping)
#7
worth getting if anyone brought the ipod deal at comet and got the free gear4 bluetooth speaker i sold my speaker on ebay because the dongles are dear

Great headphones. Got them from play for £17.99 last time. A2DP quality is not as good as wired quality, but it's so much more convenient. The range is way better than 10m as well. I can use them all around my work at about 30m with several old Victorian stone walls between me and the iPod.

Can't recommend these highly enough!

Also Huyton Merseyside, had about 2 dozen or so @9am and now vat free as they come under electricals.
Edit - well when i asked they said they would be!! and the only way to find out would be to buy some to see if the vat comes off the price, not that i got any!
The staff were unaware of the Vat free weekend until i pointed it out then they were all running around like headless chickens trying to verify it!!!
There was no instore info to let anyone be aware of this!!

i got one from play too , it work with my iphone2 .

When I went to the Watford ASDA around 11am on Friday, there were no signs anywhere about the VAT free deal. Virtually nobody that I asked on staff knew about it. Two staff in electronics didn't know. The electronics manager knew, but wasn't sure what was covered in the deal. He thought it was TVs and DVDs only and wasn't prepared to make an effort to find out any other deals despite prompting. Its not like they were busy. There was one other person at the time in the electronics department.

i got these from play too, there well worth £20 works with iphone 3g , battery lasts for ages and sounds pretty good too
#15
Do these work well with the PS3?
#16
Can only agree with everyone else...excellent with the itouch.....bargain price...Heat added!

don't get these they are awful sound and the range on mine is about 2metres not the 10 quoted. get some px100's for the same price
banned#18
to add to what i put above if you spend hundreds of pounds on an mp3 player and then buys these you're a fool
#19
I can't really see the point in wireless headphones for a personal device...

What's wrong with a little wire going from your head to your pocket?

If you care about sound quality at all, you could get some Sennheiser PX200 for £29.99 delivered and they'll sound much better.
#20
Bargain! I own these and they work like a treat with my iPod (latest nano), phone, mac and PC. Buy them!
#21
hey guys, i went into my local asda (a massive one at that!) and into the electrical department, and i couldnt see these headphones anywhere! i tried asking a member of staff and they claimed to 'not have a system to check stock' and we'd just have to look for them! well suffice to say me and the rather useless staff member did not find them in the headphone area!

how big are the asdas that you are finding them in, and where have they been confirmed so far?

i mean i want to phone any big ones in my area (southampton) and ask them but im just sure i'll get a bemused member of the grocery department fumbling around in the headphone department and ultimately just saying they dont have them!

cheer s guys
#22
gonna get one today - will buy a second set if they're good - heat & rep added

edit: can anyone confirm the deal is nationwide/majority of stores?

Your pair may have been defective. I measured both of my units at 34 feet straight line through our house and multiple brick walls in between. At that distance the sound was beginning to suffer and there was a slight delay in the action of the controls. The headphones were only partially charged at the time.

Just back from Argos and there is a big poster of the DR-BT21ik for half price at £39.99.

In this thread we are talking about the DR-BT22ik which as far as I can tell is the same as the DR-BT21ik except the DR-BT21ik headphones are behind the neck type, not folding type like the DR-BT22ik.

Just grabbed a pair of these form Asda Westbrook! :-D

yep same story not hide nor hair of them despite it being a 'superstore' :-(
#31
Hey guys, do these 'phones have a microphone built in so you can use them as a hands-free headset?
#32
I had a look for these at the Glasgow Fort (Asda Living) and the Glasgow Robroyston Asda and they had none :-(

I'd bought these before from Play at the 17.99 and they were great! I didn't use the iPod bluetooth adapter but was planning on giving them to my son for his iPod but they broke down after a month. I spoke to Sony and they said I had to go back to the retailer, I wanted paly to replace them (but they didn't have any in stock) so rather than Play going back to Sony (which I was hoping they would do) they refunded the cost of them :-(

I've since got the neckband Sony bluetooth headset and they work just as well (they are foldable), here's hoping these don't break down. If anyone sees them in a Glasgow (or surrounding area) ASDA then please say!
#33
they do have a microphone so yes you can use them blutoothed to your phone or your PC :-) (So do the neckband ones)

#38
