from what i understand after reading numerous reviews and on youtube, fz72 is about the same class as the HX300 but a little better in my opinion, and HX400V is a little better than fz72..what i know for sure is that camera market is so confusing that you cannot have a clue until you try them yourself...I order this one on lighting deal couple of days ago, prob i ll have it tomorrow...

I also ordered it two days ago on the Lightning deal and it arrived today

I have an a6000 as my main camera but wanted some insane reach for birding as 210mm is best available for the e mount.

What I will say about this camera is that it handles beautifully, the layout is superb and the features, options, build, customisation, zoom, stabilisation are all superb!

The negative is the sensor is pretty much useless above ISO 800 and it's probably because I'm so used to my a6000 aps-c sensor quality but it's hard to get used to. All of photography is a trade off and i accept that to get the reach something has to give but it's a shame it's possibly image quality in anything other than good light

Only had it one day but these are my initial impressions

When you bear in mind I only paid £147 for it after cash back I have to make myself be fair and say this is a lot of camera for the money so it's all about perspective i think and what you can and can't live with

my main camera is an 8year old 6smth megapixel which i really enjoy it, but I havent really use it the last couple of years...just I decide start taking some pics with something newer to get the feeling of the modern camera ( although build quality looks really bad imo)...what i mainly shout is cloudy landscapes and city lights...I dont know if is suitable for this task or i should have gone straight on a aps-c...top image quality is not essential but of course i dont want my pics look rubbish...

Can anyone confirm if you get cash back with this as it doesn't appear to be sold directly by amazon? It said something in the T&C that the product has to be sold and shipped from amazon directly to qualify for it? Any help would be appreciated!

This deal posting was for an Amazon Lightning deal; I believe these deals are all direct from Amazon, certainly the three deals I bought from in the last few days were.

In "Your Account", "Your orders" the order should show as "Sold by: Amazon EU S.a.r.L"
