Plus £5 off when purchasing with Mastercard, code PRICELES5. I assume you can use this here as well. Anyone have this camera? Seems a very good deal.

Price (£129.99) is really tempting though. Being sold for at £100 more in John Lewis etc.

I do agree, I voted hot. Just unsure on the camera from reviews. Still fantastic price.

Maybe things have moved on with in-camera wifi, but I have yet to use a camera with wifi photo transfer as quick, easy and dependable as removing the SD/CF card as sticking it in the computer.

Couldn't resist, ordered it. Will let you know how it goes.

Crazy price for a really excellent camera

Good deal, I was looking at the older '50' model which was selling for more so plumped for this. Thanks

Me too, now to return my hx50! It may be very similar but this works out £20 or so cheaper than i paid for it last week.

I have had loads of items from Amazon in the last few weeks that haven't come with any paperwork whatsoever.

Black Friday this was £199 before cashback and that was a good deal.
#26
Expired. Great deal you lucky few!

I bought one of these on the Black Friday. It is a fantastic camera & does so much. Automatic or manual even with manual focus. I downloaded the Timelapse ap. It is the best small camera I have owned & I've had more expensive ones in the past. I have no complaints about the build quality. My other camera is a full frame costing over £1000-00 so I wouldn't keep the HX 60 if it waspoor. Only one complaint about the camera is there is no raw. I don't have to say I am livid with Amazon that after a so called offer on Black Friday, they reduced it even further.

I've just bought this as the price was too good to miss, but I've heard a lot of bad things about this camera on its own, let alone when compared to the Pana TZ60. I'm going to give it a go because I'd be gutted if it turned out to be great and I let it pass, but if I'm not happy with it I'll be sending it back.

Great price! Owned dsc-hx30v and it was a brilliant little point and shoot. Heat added.

Have this camera from black Friday, its decent for the price to be honest. Only issue ive found is occasionally if the camera isn't steady enough the picture can be a bit blurred when you zoom in but outside of that its a big step up from the Samsung wb150f and lumix tz6 before. For 100-150 quid id recommend it

Is it your full time job posting useless comments?

Image quality was not up to spec for the quotes specifications, low light issues and just sub standard in many areas as MANY other proper review state.

Oh, and just to prove a point:

There camera is great for the price.
Most people go by best buy reviews as they are generally accurate.
I think after trawling through this thread it is your comment that is pointless

These have been on lightning deals multiple times leading up to Christmas shocked, but not surprised at this latest drop. Drawn in by the 30 zoom and the quality of the 1080p video we ordered one, but picture image noise is a major issue at all, but the lowest summer time only outdoor ISO. All the rest are a smeary mess when you look at the actual pixels.

I rested the camera on the lower part of an open window used the 30 zoom on a bird bath in the garden only to find the bird had no discernible feathers or detail at all. It looks like some kind of heavy digital oil painting filter has been used. Our older (circa 2006) and cheaper Canon blows it out of the water.

This has also put me off of buying a high end Xperia phone as the images will probably look the same.
