Sony DSX-A50BT Bluetooth Car Radio - £69.99 @ Halfords
Looks like a brilliant price for a car radio with Bluetooth built-in! Can't find any reviews, or even that many specs about it online, but as far as I know Sony is still a big name in in-car entertainment with a remote included.
No CD player here, just radio, aux in, Bluetooth and USB.
I'd be on this deal if I hadn't spent all my money on a car!

Really? With this particular model? Bit worrying as I'm planning to use it with my S3...

Hmmmm that doesn't look too great, can't see any mention of the S3 having the same issues though. Might give it a go when I've got some spare cash and take it back if it doesn't work properly. Never had any issues with a stock Peugeot Bluetooth system, so might be an issue at Sony's end.

so long as your happy taking it back go buy it and dont use the mounting plate, set it up and start a playlist, if it makes it to the 1 hour mark your safe as eveyone with the issue rebooted after 30-40 mins.
trouble is the S3 is quite new so it takes time to find out the issue!
halfords were more than happy to upgrade me to the alpine.

the alpine has parrot and works fine though.
You'll almost certainly need a fascia adapter if it's the original you're replacing, it depends if you currently have a single DIN or double DIN stereo installed, and which year it was made.
This website shows you the different ones available (even if if's crazy expensive) Clickety click
How odd, AFAIK there isn't a way to update the actual head unit, so does that mean older Sony Bluetooth units will never work with new Samsung phones, instead only Sony stereos released in the future will include the software needed?

Anyone know how to make it display track info?
