A few people have posted about play.com not having to abide by UK warranties. IIRC, its only 30 days.

For £2 more, you can get this instore from Asda - full 12 month warranty too, as well as a convenient place to take it back to

Just a bit of food for thought - a really good price nonetheless

Alternateively if anyone has a SonyCard they can pick this up for a measley 3800 Pulsebeats, as i did this morning.

One word of warning, these are also available under the same model number in a green and white colour, so don't be suprised if you don't get a blue one.

It'll probably work if your computer has bluetooth (or you have a USB adaptor), and the hardware/drivers support the Handsfree profile. It won't be very reliable, though.
Much easier to use a wired headset, or a dedicated Skype wireless device.

Ordered this as it was cheap for my Ps3 as my old bluetooth headset died on me. Since then it has been a great buy, I only need to pair it the first time i used it whcih is great as other headsets i had problems and had to pair it each time i went on my ps3. The fact that it works with my phone well is great. And its recharagable saving battery costs.

Highly recomended to everyone wanting a headset. At this price its a steal

Thanks for this:thumbsup:

would this be legal to use whilst driving?

I've been using a bt headset for years now while driving etc, v useful for keeping hands free while talking to someone etc, Jabra BT800 then a bluespoon ax2.

Considering you can still handle a gearstick/radio-cd, indicators etc, i imagine pressing a button on the side of the headset is ok too.

Bluetooth is a protocol. What this means is it is device indipendant. If your PC, console, phone, PDA has Bluetooth, it will* work. I have one on order from Play but their delivery service is getting dire. Will comment further when it arrives.

For information, I will be pairing it with a Sony K610i and a Bluetooth dongle on a PC running Ubuntu Fiesty and Gnome.

E.

PS: Will means assuming both devices are working correctly and you have access to pair the devices.
