Dont get this phone! Buggy as hell. My gf has it and it keeps crashing/dying during conversations. Do a search for C902 CRASH on google and see!

Hi!
My C902 is working OK and it replaced my excellent SE W810i.

I think any new phone will have bugs, if you want a bug free experience and don't fancy uploading new firmware then you'll have to get a phone that's been out for six to nine months at least.

(I've had my phone two months now - it locked up twice, but hasn't since I uploaded the new firmware a month ago. The only grouse I've got about it is that it's too quiet when connected via bluetooth to my car hands free. Now I come to think about it the battery life could be better (2 days) and the bundled web browser is horrible, so downloading Opera is highly recommended.

Not voting on the deal - I had a quick look around and couldn't see anything better, but it does feel a bit expensive...)

Regards

Agreed I've had the K750 and the K800 both great phones, nearly went for this but decided i fancied something different so went for the Tocco.

However as stated this is not a hot deal.

Are there any Sony phones that actually work properly ?.

I now have a c905 to replace my k800i which replaced a k750i. My son uses a c902, replacing a k810i, and thinks it's brilliant - his brother wants one for Christmas. In my experience Sony phones are superb, especially when it comes to battery life, and rarely buggy - certainly less buggy than LGs or Nokias (I've tried both). Apple iPhone is the least buggy perhaps but then it doesn't have half the features. The only SE phone I ever disliked was the k850i and that was for its stupid buttons.

As for this deal... lukewarm I think. It's a great phone but it's going to drop in price before Xmas. Seriously, if you have any problems with it, update the firmware - it's easy going through the Sony site.

I have a k810i at the moment ,the contract runs out on saturday. Orange themselves were offering very little so had a look on the DIALAPHONE website and was torn between the C905 or the HTC diamond ,both exactly the same offer, went for the HTC in the end, coming tomorrow so i will see how it compares.
