**THESE PHONES NORMALLY COST AROUND £350 ON PAY AS YOU GO**

The 8 megapixel Sony Ericsson C905 Cyber-shot phone has been generating a lot of excitement. Its the first slider phone in the Cyber-shot brand and is Sony Ericssons most advanced cameraphone to date. Build quality is first-rate and the C905 feels like a quality phone. Available in three colours from launch, choose from silver, bronze or matt black. The camera lens is covered by a silver strip on the back of the phone. Slide it open to activate the camera application. With 8 megapixels, xenon flash, image stabiliser, red-eye reduction and 30fps video capture, this is a serious camera. It can produce spectacular images with remarkable levels of clarity and detail.

The Sony Ericsson C905 is also brilliant for music and multimedia. It has a 2.4 inch screen, a fine music player, FM radio, stereo Bluetooth and also TV output for viewing your photos and videos on a big screen TV. With HSDPA and Wi-Fi, the C905 is also great for browsing the web. It has a GPS receiver with Google Maps and Way Finder sat nav applications. Theres also a secondary video call camera for face to face calls. The Sony Ericsson C905 is not only an excellent cameraphone, its a superb all-rounder.

that's 3000 texts

Heh, thanks for the correction (that's what I meant to type). Quite a different deal, eh?

Pretty good deal. If I could get an O2 signal at home I'd go for it. Especially cos of the 24 month warenty that erricsons have.
#5
A 2 year contract!!!

Enough said!

£600 contract? Might be a cool phone, but cold for me. If the phones worth £350 then I wouldn't pay £250 for those txts and calls, plus the 24 month tie in

24 months?

No thanks!

A 24 months contract????
O2 is going wild these days. First they scrapped up 12 months and introduced 18 months contract and now they want to tie into a 24 month contract.....
may be a 2 years down the line they start offering 10 year contracts. I am gutted at their length of contract.
Because, 24 months ago browsing internet through mobile was something you never dreamt of. And today it is a common thingy. so if something else becomes common a year later what would you do????
HAVE NOT VOTED THOUGH. I AM GUTTED AT O2 RATHER THAN THIS CONTRACT.

I think it's good deal actually. OK it's 24 months but this is a top phone and noone anywhere is doing it on an 18month contract at this price. In a year's time it's still going to be a good phone and you'll still have 600mins at £25 per month for a further year (and still under warranty).

If there's a better deal for this phone out there please could someone post a link!

It is a good phone. I got it from o2 with 1000 texts and 600 minutes and free web browsing for £25 for 18 months contract. It's not a good deal for over 24 months sorry

That sounds like an extremely good deal. Was it advertised or did you haggle?

Still waiting for evidence of a better offer....:whistling:

They offered that as soon as I said I had seen similar with orange but for slightly less minutes etc

O2 don't do this one in pink on their website. I've been eyeing it up and nearly went down to Phones4u today to get it but realised you gain £30 via quidco if you buy online. I called O2 'n asked why the website doesn't do it in pink and their answer was basically that they try not to do pink phones on the website. So, I can get the black one with vodafone for £28 150 mins 'n 500 texts with free web browsing and it's a 12 months contract (mins 'n texts perfect for me) or I can go 18 months £30 + £7.50 web browsing just for the pink one with far too many minutes 'n texts. I'm trying to justify it it's really worth it. It they sold the pink one on the website I'd probably get free browsing too as a free bolt on. Decisions decisions! :D
