IS it a 18m contract??
#2
12 or 18 month contract?, did you ask if the discount was for the entire period. The last time voda called me they failed to mention the discount was for 9 months of the 12!
#3
are you a new customer or is this an upgrade?
#4
This is an 18 month contract.
I'm an existing customer. I don't know if it applies soley to current Voda users.
It's for the whole period £14.75 incl taxes, etc...
#5
You can usually reduce your monthly payment when you renew your contract
#6
I've been looking at deals on this phone since before it was released and nothing touches itt, IMO.
I don't think you Cash Back deals can match it...
#7
cashback scheme?

A lot of 3rd parties offer cashback deals. MobileExpress, buymobilephones, dailaphone, etc...

Can't find this deal on the website. Is it available by phone or in the Voda shop ?

Is it a deal for anyone or only existing customers ?

Thanks
#12
anyone got this deal?id take it,minimum price is £30 online on the vodafone site
#13
Will be for existing voda customers only
#14
anyone had any luck with this deal, CS dont seem to know anything about this
#15
sounds like a last chance deal, you often get better deals if you say your leaving them. They didn`t offer me anything like this deal when I renewed a few days ago.
#16
This will be a retentions deal and certainly not open to everyone. My "deal" I was offered when I let them know I was leaving was nowhere near this good at around 40 a month
#17
this is not available to everyone. its only to the specific caller.

This is apparently a common fault (is it on Vodafone?) and has happened to a friends phone. I have the phone and love it just hope I have a good one.

I've had SonyEricsson phones do that earpiece thing as well :x

As for your WiFi problem here's a tip...

Text yourself a URL eg www.google.co.uk
Connect to your network
Go to text inbox and find your google text. Click... Interwobble

A pain in the posterior but Voda still haven't moved much in sorting VodaLive for wifi access. It's the Live that's at fault, not the wifi!!!
#23
Meant to say... I got this as well, on a 12 monther with free internet - apparently!?!

£22.50 but the phone was free and I never go over my 250 mins anyway!

How near to the end of your contract was you?

I have been onto Vodafone over the last few days to neg an upgrade but they wanted £100 for a C905 or a C902 for free and 600 mins and unlim texts for £25.

I still have nearly 2 months left on my contract, so will wait a coupe of weeks and then write to cancel the contract and wait and see what they will offer then.
#27
had a look on the site and the cheapest plan is £15 a moth but you have to pay £293 for the phone!!!!!! cant find this deal anywhere thatis being spoken about.:x

I've been a customer for 8 yrs.
In July 08, I undertook the unlimited texts for £15 a month for the next 18.
It's a 2nd line they where origainally offered me but when i rejected ans stated i wasn't happy with my current deal and price plan, and that i was wanting a deal with C905, the guy said, we're currently offering 50% discount on the deal i've posted.

I've took the deal and also added unlimited internet for an extra £1.50 a month

Also the deal changed from what he told me yesterday....

FREE SONY ERICSSON C905
600 mins
Unlimited Texts
Unlimited Internet
18 month cotract
All for £14.67 a month

Delivery is free & my contribution fee is now only £20

I'm stil having to run my Unlimited Text, £15 a monthm contract down

Shame people have voted cold... I'm getting a good deal.
As i type this post i've just received a text from VODAFONE that my C905 will be with me tormorrow.

Not that good a deal since you are still paying £15 a month for another unwanted contract, you are effectively paying £29.67 a month in total and you have had to pay £20 for the phone on top (I'm sure they could have waived that charge). Also this deal seems to be only specifically for you and is not widely known about or advertised.

Wow how did you manage that, was it through the retentions department? Is it an extra long contract like 24 months or something? Does it include free internet?
#32
Best I could get from Vodafone was C905, 500mins xnet, 250 txt,Passport, Unlimited Internet, 12 month deal, £24.26 a month, no fees. Received the phone on Monday and it looks good, quite big though!!
#33
it arrived today

for the guy above who said i'm paying two lines - true enough. but i was going way over my £15 month so i am saving money
