  Paid £109 in the summer so this is a good deal. I like the phone, although the battery life is rubbish. But no-one seems interested in making phones with decent battery life these days.

  I'm not sure that I would recommend anyone buy a android phone with less than 1GB RAM and 1GB Internal memory, unless you are going to use it's basic features and nothing else.

  I haven't found storage to be a problem - I slapped in a 32GB microSD card which I still haven't filled. A bit more RAM would be nice. But the main problem is battery life.

  Looks like the quickest and simplest method to unlock and debrand this is using Wotanserver.com
  costs 10 Euros.
  
  Had a look on XDA but seems well confusing.

  I haven't unlocked it but it was easy enough to root it and install a debranded firmware using flashtool. I downgraded to 4.0.2.A.58 and rooted using the instructions in the XDA FAQ.

  Quite tempted by this to replace my rapidly ageing San Francisco v1, but I think I'll keep looking until I see another Huawei Ascend G 300 type offer! The keyboard on this would have been a much bigger selling point a couple of weeks ago, but after buying Swiftkey3 in the Google app sale, I think I prefer using the screen to a keyboard!

  This is a great little phone. I purchased one for my 11 year old daughter and she loves it. It is not cool or expensive enough to make her a target, but it does everything you expect from an Android phone.

  The qwerty keyboard on this phone is the best keyboard I have ever used on a phone for texting. If it wasn't for the fact that I use my iPhone for most things nowadays, some of which I wouldn't be able to get on this,I'd go back in a second. Much better than touchscreen.
