No Skype!!!

I wonder if it actually can run Skype but it is so hot off the press that the full spec hasn't been added by Three yet. It is obviously a replacement for the K660i deal - I wonder how they compare !

This review site says it has GPS, but it isn't mentioned on the SE website:

http://www.yourmobilephonereviews.co.uk/sony_ericsson_g502_reviews.htm

Still a good deal, with or without Skype/GPS

Correction: The Three site says 'Check your email, chat in real time on Windows Live Messenger, make free Skype calls, and get to your destination with Google Maps.'

I check the options for the phone, but it does not give any indication whether it will have support for Skype, because thats what I use most, when I am not using my minutes to call other people. Long Distance.

I may ask the person in the chat, to see wether they can shed any light on the handset itself. :whistling:

For £9 quid a month you get a 100 txts well on pay as you go you get 100 txts for £10 top up it looks alright but the virgin liberty sim will give you double txts and mins for an extra pound a month with no contract or phone, depends if you need a new phone or not

£158.58 - £60 RAF (family member) - £16.50 quidco.

~ £83 over 18 months, sell phone and you have a free contract, but for 100mins its not worth the hassle.

It doesnt explicitly mention skype on the handset but in the panel to the right it says free skype followed by some other stuff. I signed up for this tariff but with the uglier K660i and got free skype (and messenger actually). The skype software will certainly run on this phone.

It does say it has Skype - message 3 above is an extract from the Three web page

google maps which works via network ie; HSDPA

pretty useless as a 'sat nav' but excellent for general directions.
