I have just ordered 5 Nokia 6070's for £19.99 each total = £99.95 to sell on e-bay or to friends. The book price in most shops is £49.99 and they are easy to unlock yourself.

Just hope they honor it. :-D

RED HOT :giggle:
#3
how did u order 5? I thought the site only lets you order 1 at a time?
#4
anyone know how to unlock k310i and debrand?
#5
Sony Ericsson are very hard to unlock (usually need a data cable)

Thats why I bought the Nokia's (easy peasy)

Just use the BACK button once you get to basket and add another one mate

They are going for between £25-£30 on Ebay..so after fees etc you'll be making about £5 per phone.....considering the amount of fake buyers out there that seem to be attracted to phones on ebay, i wouldnt think it a viable profit making venture.

Shame though.

Plus the Orange website has gone down for 'maintenance' so maybe they are reviewing their prices anyway now??

I HATE Orange with a vengeance now anyway...after their appaling Indian/Packistan customer service and £10 top up scam..theiving from its loyal customers.

This has already been posted, but for a different phone. It's supposed to work with any phone over £30 I think? Original thread/link here... The first poster should be given credit... :)

That's kind of you! I can exchange for Samsung E900 unlock procedure! In fact, I think we should have a devoted section to unlocking codes for mobiles on this forum.

the E900 unlock is found on the expansy site and has been replicated over here. I've already used it and sold my E900 on ebay for a tidy profit of £40.

JUST BE WARNED.

THE £10 COMPULSORY TOP UP IS A SCAM (or at least it is in MOST cases)...Orange will not put the £10 top up on...you have to keep chasing and chasing Orange Customer services (who are the WORST in the world)....i have totally given up calling them and have resigned myself to losing the £10 i paid for the top up!!!

To confirm my theory, even the Receipt you get from Orange doesnt show the £10 top up...even though its been taken off your card!!

Part of me is thinking that Orange have been inundated with thee £20 off Wincanton codes and so are trying to get back some of their lost revenue.

Firstly i was told the £10 would show within 24 hours..then when i called back after 1 day they said 48 hours...then 72 hours..then 5 days...then 5-7 days!!!...its a joke......most the customer services people dont give a damn and most cannot speak clear english....they are not there to help people, just to register new phones or fob you off.

SORRY...but i HATE ORANGE at the minute...they are the WORST company in the world!!!
#23
Orange are useless cos they are owned by france telecom just like O2 now owned by Telefonica they get worse. Everyone hates three cos they are runned by Indians but that is the current market, what can you do. Orange are the worse just dispute the payment with your credit card company, or contact Ofcom or OFT.

Not likely to capture many special pictures on a £20 phone with a 1mp camera....

I ordered mine on Tuesday night and I havent had a cancellation yet. Fingers crossed I will get it!

I called them today they didnt have any record of my order even though I had a confirmation email. They have sorted it and received this email from them.

Hello Mrs Smith

Many thanks for the email.
You order has been cleared by our customer security dept and the order processed. It should arrive on the day you selected.
Please be aware that when you receive your invoice, it will show 49.99. We have only taken 29.99 for the handset.

Many thanks

A simliar thing happened to a friend at work. I ordered the razr a few weeks back (from a previous posting) and had the phone delivered within a week so i gave her all the details. Each time she got a confirmation email and nothing else, she rung orange 4 or 5 times and was told they had no record of the order etc etc and was told to re-order but to no avail. In the end she spoke to someone at orange who told her that they put these offers on the web but dont tell the people who actually do the orders at orange...!!! Anyway in the end she had a phone that was £49.99 on the website knocked down to £29.99 with the voucher for £19.99 !!
I would say just keep trying and keep on at orange

I phoned and queried the order using the 0800 no in my email I was asked if I wanted to reorder and when given the full price I then stated that my original order was only coming to 29.99 did not mention the discount code. i ordered a sony 200i

email
Following your recent web order, your details have now been processed successfully. Your order will be delivered within 2 working days.
#39
Hmmm. I made 2 orders with them. 1 for the K310i and one for a big bunch of cheap phones. I'm too ashamed to say how many...

I got an email saying that they could not take payment for one of the orders and that I had to phone them. Turned out that they cancelled my order for the K310i, but the big exploity order for the mass-o-cheap-phones using the dodgy code went through.

Here's hoping! Keep posting everyone and let us know how you get on!

Here's to stickin' it to the man!
