LXDirect have the Sony Ericsson K750i reduced from £179.99 to £90.99 on Orange pay as you go. Hurry before they run out of stock!!

The Sony Ericsson K750i is a high-spec, 2 megapixel cameraphone with Autofocus. There's a large 220x176 pixel display, which is great for watching videos or playing 3D games. For further entertainment there's a built-in RDS FM radio and MP3 player. The K750i has 32 MB internal memory and is supplied with an addition 64 MB memory stick. The capacity of the K750i can be upgraded to 1 GB, that's enough to store hundreds of MP3 files, video clips, photos and games - all in your pocket. It also has Bluetooth connectivity and PC synchronisation.

If you wish you can purchase via QuidCo.com to gain 4.5% in cashback on this deal - that's about £4.09. Be sure to check out the voucher section to see if the LX-Direct codes work for you!!

Use the code ZG562 for £15 off making the total £79.49, without adding Quidco!!!

Good find ducky :-)

Worth trying some vouchers and even if declined, still a bargain

Hello everyone:smile:

I've decided to go for this phone rather than the Samsung D500 on offer at The Link.

Can anyone tell me how long does it take for the confirmation email to arrive, I am paying via my Visa debit card so there should be no problems from my end;-)

Also has anyone got any good/bad opinions on this phone?
#3
phones are quite good but very common for faults. these include: screens, joysticks, cameras and software problems. consequences of the software problems can be that it keeps freezing. just blank white screaan and/or wont charge properly.

I have a k750i and it's pretty good. To be honest I think it's a slight drop in quality from the T610 series which they sort of replaced. However, it still has a good quality feel to it and everything has worked fine for me with no problems.

I think my only complaint is that the reception seems a little poorer than my old T610 but that might just be my imagination?
#5
Yeah the T610 line was the top end range at the time so the quality did drop a little as the K750i is more mid/low end price range.

I believe the K750i currently has a 3 week wait on LX DIRECT? Not sure how accurate this is though to reflect their actual stock levels...

I have had the K750i on Orange, they have changed all the menus on this with orange icons rather than the original SE - so its not as pretty as the originals!

:) hope this helps someone!
#6
Would you rather have the K750i or the Samsung D500 which can be had for the same price?
#7
I would personally choose the K750i, reasons being the auto focus camera gives great quality and the MS duo slot which expands the possibilities of the phone (you can actually use the MP3 player properly + it has a nice radio)!

D500, I m not too sure about - but i d image it d be running the same old UI as the E720 and Z500 - both which i didnt prefer.

:)

I'd rather have the D500 if I'm honest.

I know a couple of mates who have the K750i's and they're constantly moaning that the joystick fails to work properly. For Example, the other day one of my mates phone's wouldn't go right on screen when he pressed right on the joystick.

Common fault with them, as mentioned above.

They're also prone to overheating too. Once touched my mates when it froze and the back where the battery sits was red hot!!

They're not a bad phone don't get me wrong, I just dont think I could put up with the constant faults.

The K750i is brilliant, expecially the camera!!

If you want to know what the camera quality is like, then take a look at these pictures both taken with my K750i the other day!!

CLICK HERE for picture 1 (Jaguar 240?).
CLICK HERE for picture 2 (rolls royce statue).
CLICK HERE for picture 3 (donkeys!!).

If they open up really huge then they might not look great, but if you let windows picture viewer or whatever scale them down a bit they look really good.

Not had any trouble with my K750i apart from the dust under the screen, but I've had that with every colour-screen phone I've ever had.

Wow I should use the camera on it more often! Nice pics duckmagic! This sounds really geek but you know what I use the camera for? I take pics of pages in the library instead of photocopying them and store them on my laptop. That way I have a mini-library of anything I ever scanned (and can use bluetooth to transfer so don't even have to carry a cable). To complete the circle I would use OCR to make searchable text files but all the OCR I've used has been pretty hit and miss.

Sorry to go a wee bit off topic on you here, but ducky - look in the reflection of the Jaguar - is that a man peeing against a double decker bus!?!

LMAO - looks quite like it!
#12
That's me. Not really!!

It was one of these enthusiast days. My dad is interested in buses (as you can probably tell from the items he's been buying via my eBay account, lol) so we go to a lot of rallies. I quite like the old cars, so it's a bit of fun going there too. There were over 180 minis at this rally!! Anyway, that guy is probably just getting his expensive camera out of its bag or something.

They were all giving me funny looks... most of the "enthusiasts" have massive cameras with huge lenses and stuff and then I'm there taking pictures with my mobile phone. I bet I got better pictures than them though. :p

Does anyone know how long it takes for the confirmation email to come through?
As I'd like to know if they have stock or not, if they hav'nt I'll buy a Samsung D500 but I don't want to miss out out at The Link:(
#14
i have a k750i, Great phone has everything you could ask from a phone (almost everything).

i love the camera (i perfer it over my 5mp Camera).

the only down fall is it's not as easy to use as the great Nokia & Samsung Menu's, you alway have to think twice before you press a button (i.e call waiting, i seem to cut off the call i want to take).
#15
I believe this is out of stock now :(
#16
Yeah... if they get it back then let me know and I'll make sure it goes back on the home page!! :D
#17
Did anyone get to order this phone and got the confirmation email?

Hey true8lue welcome here :)

Not to be a damp rag but don't hold your breath until you check your bank account, they usually charge full price and then apply the discount as credit in a second transaction. Some people have had no problems with the codes but some people have had trouble with them...
#21
Oh well even without the discount it's still a very good price.

Fingers crossed for the virtually half price phone though
#22

I was going to post this earlier today, but it is actually not in stock when you actually log in to buy it!

Probably just a remainder of the old deal still messing about in the computer systems! :(

I'm still waiting for delivery from my original order 3 weeks ago.
