For further entertainment there's a built-in RDS FM radio and MP3 player. The K750i has 32 MB internal memory and is supplied with an addition 64 MB memory stick. Looks like a good deal. Do you know if I can port from Orange to Virgin online at CPW - so I can get the quidco cash? They have a warning about porting to Vodafone/O2 but not to Virgin or Orange....

thanks!

-Update- Looks like you can't do any porting online but you need to call them in advance for Vodafone/O2 - for other networks the port seem to get done after you get the phone....

Anyway I didn't want to wait in case it went out-of-stock before I got my PAC code so I've ordered one anyway - thanks for this!

I'm interested in this.
Which is the best colour red or black. Has anyone got a "real" pic of the red one as it looks a bit bright/shiny on the website?
Also do you count each recieved statement as being a month, I heard of people sending in the wrong statement and not getting the cash-back.

Thanks:)

It usually says on the info they send you, I think it's usually the bill which proves you've been on for so many monts.

i.e. They send you 6 bills but you've only been connected for 5 months then you send the 7th one which shows your 6 months. So basically you have to work out exactly 6 months after when you connected it and then get your bill which shows for that date if you get what I mean. Check the info they send... it's usually done by date and not bill number.

As for pictures, these are still actual promotional pictures from SE but they show the colour a bit better.

I like my black one, but it's entirely up to colour preference. Neither version is superior. :)

There is only black in stock now.
I'll sign up to this offer seeing as you, duckmagicuk2, have one of these phones and recommends it:-D
#9
I've got that phone too and it's a cracker... Even though I've dented the back lens cover....:(
#10
The camera is the best I'vem ever used, and that includes my proper digital camera too!!

You won't be disappointed.

It looks like these are Out Of Stock now.

Is that likely to be a temporary thing while CPW get more stock, or have I missed my chance ?

Welcome to HUKD clackers!!

I'm not sure if it's temporary or not. I'd guess if it was permanent then they'd totally remove it though as CPW are good at keeping their pages up-to-date.

You have 2 options...

1) Back order it. If a lot of people do thins then it might make them work quicker to get them re-stocked. You can always pull out if you're fed up with waiting.
2) Contact them and ask if they know when they'll be back in.

Best of luck. I've marked this as "expired" for now... if they come back into stock then I'll reinstate the deal here. :)
#13
Damnit! I would have done this too ;( expired ;(

edit// how often are these "intervals" for CPW - I'm new to this whole phone contract market (Always been a PAYG user)
#14
I think they are month 6 and month 12.

The phone might come back in stock yet. We'll just have to keep an eye on it.
#15
ok, so lets say month 6 comes - what exactly do I do? :P

Please note: This is a chequeback offer - this means you pay the full line rental every month (as stated in the contract details) and in order to get the reduced line rental, you need to send back your 4th, 8th and 12th airtime bills and we will send you a cheque for each one.

The sum of the cheques plus any network contribution (shown above under "Automatic Money back") amounts to your total discount over the course of the contract. The reduced line rental is therefore what you would effectively pay over the course of the contract.

* The Total Saving value is reached through a combination of methods.

* A cheque for the value shown above under Automatic Money Back will be sent to you automatically within 60 days of connection. You do not need to send anything in to receive this cheque.

* The remaining value of this offer is by chequeback. All you need to do is send in your airtime bills as stated above in the Chequebacks breakdown when you receive them. You will receive the amount stated at that bill period. If you have online billing, please send in a print out the HTML bill sent to you via email.

* To claim your chequebacks you need to send your airtime bills to:

Chequebacks
The Carphone Warehouse
P.O. BOX 4259
Wednesbury
WS10 7WZ

* Please note that your airtime bills must be sent within 60 days of receipt to claim your chequebacks.

* Please note that we can decline chequebacks if the airtime bills are not paid.

On this contract Automatic cashback is £30 and checkback is £270 in total... £90 at months 4, 8 and 12.

On this offer you also get 1,000 texts all summer. It's still on the CarPhoneWarehouse homepage so it's likely that they're waiting for more. I'd back order it if I were you to make sure you do get one when they arrive!!

Thanks for the advice DuckMagic. I phoned the sales line and they said that they'd be getting some stock in "soon", but had no actual date.

Also, the guy said that he could get me a Red K750i. Apparently if customers reserve a phone and don't confirm it within 24 hours, they release it for sale again. I didn't take him up on the offer as I was hoping for the £30 back from Quidco, which I wouldn't get by ordering over the phone. So if anyone wasn't interested in the quidco deal, it may be worth phoning sales to see if they've got any in.

I'm going to keep checking the site. I'll update here if any more come in ..... after I've got mine of course.

I've just paid my first direct debit to the carphone warehouse, I thought the line rental was £30 per month - I only paid £25.25, why?

Hi,

I cannot find the deal anywhere on the carphonewarehouse site. When I go to the page and select the phone manufacturer it lets me select the handset but there is absolutely no option or banner that would display this deal.

Please advise.

Cheers

It's possible that they have a network promotion with discounted line rental.
