This is a good deal, for someone looking for this phone, sometimes ebay prices with this phone goes higher, and with this you have a full 12 month garantee and a 7 day return to store garantee.

Good deal, I have the k800, might get this one, next one up from mine. Are these phones returned as faulty? and refurbished? or are they just like new?

Hi used to have the K800i, and loved it, so I think I will like this. Well I have bought 2 'clearance' phones from the cpw, both have came like new, all assesories, and plastic stickers on the screen etc, they are like brand new, you wouldnt be able to tell. They come with a 7 day no questions asked return to cpw stores anyway, so you should be fine, these phones are supposed to be customer returned within the 7 days.

My phone is supposed to come today, but it hasnt turned up yet, but its out for delivery, I hate city link, they are so slow.

Ew, City Link suck, they don't even take care of your packages (my grandad used to work there).

Very tempting to get one as I need a new phone (k750). heat+rep

Got a new phone from CPW yesterday, delivered by Citylink, I could tell, box was bashed up like anything! Only other 2 deliveries from Citylink before were a camera that they tried to deliver once but wouldn't try again no matter how many messages I left on their answering machine and no-one ever answers the phone. Other delivery was a pc which had red wine all over it!

Avoid Citylink at all costs, not that you get much choice anyway.

That's citylink for you, why do CPW use them? It can't be cheaper than using special delivery can it?

You could give your local office a bell to see if the driver is still out and about on his delivery route. I've had citylink deliver at 5.30pm before. If they say its out then theres normally an extremely good chance you'll get it...
#18
I got one today (ordered for someone else) - it came in a plain white box, the phone had all the protective plastic on the screen, camera cover and on the Sony Ericsson logo on the battery cover. The box also contained the battery, a USB data cable, software CD, carry strap, manual and the charger. All looked to be unused.
#19
Never had a problem with City Link personally, it'll turn up today I expect :)

Parcel Farce on the other hand :x

Its web only, k810i sim free is £229.99 in cpw stores. Just came off the phone, and he is still out for delivery, but they cant tell where he is, because he isnt doing his drop offs in order.

I have to give them a ring back at 5pm. grrrr

I upgraded to this phone,(before getting my hands on a nokia n95) its only marginally slimmer than the k800i, its a nice phone, although i found it harder to text with, due to the size and shape of the keys.

Watch out for city link, they make out they've attempted delivery, when they haven't and they dont even post a card through. The only way i caught on to their scam was by checking the tracking online, not that it made any differnece as they didn't come back and make the delivery, thats the experience i've had with them in the past. :x

I'm in two minds wether to get it, I got the k800i and everyone sayin it aint really much difference + I'm getting put off by city link.
#26
I just got it, first impressions are very good, bearing in mind I used to have a k800i. The look of the phone is obvoiusly the first noticeable change, the case has a glossy black finish, the design has had a drastic improvment, the lens cover is now embedded, so no chance of the cover opening in your pocket. The phone also seems more solid.

Turned it on, and the familiar sony ericsson interface is there, I have to say that even though the software on the phone hasnt changed much, it is much cleaner and faster. I am deffinatly glad I had it now. City link didnt come till gone 6 though!

It's essentially the same as what they did with the k750i and the W800i.
The same phones, but just a new cover and upgraded software.
I think all the features are the same, just the K810 is Quad-band, as opposed to the K800's tri-band or something along those lines.
See if theres a way to just buy a newer cover, and save a fortune.
#28
Been playing with this for the last few days, I love it, have to say the camera is fantastic, just like the k800i, they have got to be the best camera phones around, tried an N95 and wasnt that impressed. The k810i is deffinatly a good buy. Great looks, great features, perfect phone.
#29
If you have problem with deliveries you can get it delivered to your local CPW high-street shop and pick it up.

Stock is gone now by looks of it.
Unfortunately, the item you ordered is temporarily out of stock. We do make every effort to ensure that only items that are in stock appear on the website, and we apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

Thats a good idea, I bet it would still be City Link delivering it to them lol

Are these DEF sim free ???

What condition are they in? is the box open that you get etc
#35
100% Sim Free
Mine was brand new, stickers still on screen etc. It doesnt come in original box, but in a white box instead with everything its supposed to come with.
#36
the reason why this phone is on clearance is due to the K850i coming out soon... Which will have a 5 megapixel camera and image stabilisation....

But luckily sold my K800i a month ago just in time before the price drop... I am tempted by this one but can see the price going lower as soon as the K850i is out.....
#37
Ordered one for my Bro, it came unlocked and in original SE box however it did look slightly scuffed. It had the plastic protective film on the screen etc however on the camera lens it looked like it was stuck back on as was not sticking like it should have. All in all pretty pleased with it.

the k810i has image stabilisation aswell, so it isnt new.

ah right thought it was a new feature on the k850i...

So when I order this do I just leave the £10 O2 airtime thing already in?
