12x£9.85 = £113.40 term cost for a phone worth more than £130+ on ebay or what www.cex.co.uk will give you £116 cash for so if you wanted breaking even once the quidco comes through without the hassle and risk of cashback claims.

i presume you are trying to to it with the normal K850i, for me the £15 tariff only works with the Refurb

choose the £15 tarriff first then pick the phone - then you will find it.

nice find.

I found it. ~( not the refurb)

75 mins + 200 texts for £20 may be a better deal.
#14
G600 with free photo frame, not bad

I think the referb bit only means it was sent back with the week cooling off period - they have been tested and come with warranty so I wouldn't worry to much about the fact that it is a referb

i took out an orange contract only yesterday using the wincanton thing, that was £13.50 a month with unlimited texts and 100 any mins but the choice of phones here is much better and orange is only £60 quidco
#17
are the unlimited texts o2 to o2 only?

no minutes but can be added on as a bolt on - or you can go for another higher tarriff and still get the £100 quidco
#22
So this is an 18 month contract then? Could this be added to title and/or OP please? I ask this, since i was drawn in by the title, but would very reluctantly sign for 18 months

Not related to this deal but I didn't realise you could get money back through Quidco through O2... or that it was so much - £100?!

My 12 month contract has run out and now I've seen a handset I like (890i) can I just renew my contract on the site after going through Quidco and collect the £100? Or do I have to just order the phone/contract and cancel my current one?

yes just start the contract as a new customer - although you will lose your current mobile number - unless you can move that to another network (payg) first then move it back to o2.

Thanks for the response :)

Ouch, had this number for 6 years now as it's very memorable and I'd hate to go without, even for a short time. Would this process of swapping the number to another network and back again take long?

i would say about 2 weeks - phone o2 ask for your pac code - they may offer you the same deal as an upgrade if you are honest with them and explain bout quidco
#31
Hey, just a quick question, does anyone know if texts to another country, say australia, would be included in the free texts?

Be careful as O2 only give about 11 or 14 days to transfer a number onto a new contract sim. Plus the £100 Quidco runs out on the 21st April.

I'm going for either the k850i or the W890i on the £30 12 month contract. Both phones are free on the 200 / 400 tarrif for 12 months. I'm currently on a Simplicity £15 200 / 400 deal.

The strange thing is O2 will allow you to transfer an O2 PAYG number to contract with no issue. However they brick wall you when transferring from one contract to another new one. Upgrade only. :?

I'd be tempted to pac out of o2 and back in if they tried that, doesn't surprise me mind, but you need to be quick about it. O2 should tell you the pac over the phone, they did with me.

Yeah, it's worth a go at a massive £100 Quidco payout.

I'm currently on a 12 month £25 for 125 mins and 300 texts. They've recently dropped this package to 75 mins and 300 texts, which falls short of enough for me when 125 mins was perfect. Also, I'd have to pay £60 on top for the W890i on £25/month.

Thinking of going to £30/month but I'd be paying more minutes that I'd never use. Wonder if I could barter...
#38
thanks...tried the G600....will probably get refused but the quidco may still go through...lol
banned#39
I would definately try and barter - ask for your pac code - you will then be put through to retentions and it should be easier to get a better deal rather than just speaking to customer servcies.
#40
its a refurb too.

better deals elsewhere
