It's good to see a company being so clear () in their explanation of a cashback offer:

QUOTE:

12 Month Cheque Back Terms and Conditions

Send your 6th, 8th, 10th and 12th monthly bills within 60 days of the date stated on the relevant airtime bill, to us and we will credit you by cheque with 25% of the total amount at each redemption period*

This will save you the stated amount over the 12 month duration of the contract.

*Approximately 25%, the combined total of all Four Cheques will be equal to the stated amount.

Thats because they are phones4u, and one of the best cashback people!
#4
Didn't know they were part of Phones4U.

Also doing the same deal on the N95 (clearance):

Thanks to the OP. Voted hot!

Bryntaylor99, your timing was perfect - I called o2 retentions this morning, and used this deal to bargain with. Although they couldn't beat it, I think I will go for this or one of the 12 months free offers, as I am a skint git!

All in all, the best k850i deal I've seen so far. Thanks again!

Yes it's the best deal by a country mile.

Don't forget it's only recently come out.

They'll be better deals for it in the next coming months.

just remember its on vodafone so the software will more than likely be mucked around with

Whats the odds of o2 giving me a better deal like this as I just got a contract with them last 3days ago. I am currently on 400mins 1000texts £35month 12month contract. I was with vodafone before and had no problems but didn't get a good deal. But this deal is superb will o2 do a price match

Since, its a cashback deal, I don't think they will price match it, but it's worth a try.... It depends mostly on your average monthly spend for the past 12 months. They use that to calculate what they can give you for the next 12 months - at least thats what I was told by the retentions lady.

Can anyone confirm whether you can port your number over on these cashback deals?

hope this helps - taken from their web-site.

1. Can I port my existing number to my new phone?

You can keep your existing mobile phone number from your current pay as you go or contract phone when purchasing a new mobile package from Mobiles2YourDoor depending on which network you want to transfer to. If you are unsure of your eligibility to port then please use our porting guide.

We currently only support number porting when transferring to T-mobile, Orange, Three, Virgin and BT Mobile, but not Vodafone or O2.

To keep your existing mobile phone number all you need to do is follow these simple steps:

1) Place your order on our website

2) Contact your existing network provider to request your PAC (Porting Authorisation Code)

3) Contact your new network provider on the appropriate number below and quote your temporary number (the number your new phone is registered to), your existing number that you want to keep and the PAC.

Cash back deals are usually the best, as long as you are organised about it.

On a side note, I went into a Phones4U shop and asked them if I can get the deal online and get my number ported over from in-store and they said, no! But they said I could go for a 12 months free offer (with a rubbish phone) and get my number ported over to that in store... was well disappointed cas I really want the k850i with my current number:-(

exactly! But you have to know what you are doing with cashback, and you need to know your T&C's.
#21
I don't know why they are being a bit pedantic about porting numbers over. I really don't see why they can do it for instore offers and only some online...?

My mobile was stolen a few weeks ago and I had 2 years worth of contacts on there. So I really don't want to change numbers because I am adding them back one by one as and when they call/txt me.
#22
**** was gonna get it, but without number porting no way
#23
Still by far the best price, so I guess that deserves a buummmpppp!:whistling:
