Using mine right now to stream near-perfect audio from my laptop to my hi-fi wirelessly.

This is almost £15 cheaper than I could find it anywhere else.

Plugs in to any RCA or 3.5mm jack input, pairs with a phone or laptop which supports 'A2DP' and allows you to stream audio to a hi-fi, headphones or whatever via bluetooth. Has an internal battery and charges like a mobile phone, so highly portable and concealable if used at home.

I can vouch for the audio quality, this doesn't suffer from the same issues as FM modulators, its near perfect unless you really crank it up to silly levels.

That's an interesting gadget. Not see that type of thing before.

So how does it charge? Does it come with a charger or do you use a normal Sony Ericsson phone charger?

WHat do you have it connected to on your hi-fi? Does it have a like a pair of phono jacks?

EDIT: just done a search and looks like it does have phono jacks. Sorry to say but these are £13.95 + £2.95 P&P on eBay.

I'd not seen one before either so i took a punt on it and I've been well impressed, I think A2DP is 'fairly' new and not many gadgets make use of it.

Comes with a charger which looks pretty much like a mobile phone charger. First charge time is 8h and I have no idea how long that lasts in terms of use, as I've just got mine today.

I have it connected to the RCA (phono) jacks, the ones that're usually red/white. It comes with both RCA and 3.5mm jack cables, basically everything you need is in the box. but theres a standard 3.5mm jack output on the device itself, so I guess you can plug it in to about anything if you can find the right 3.5mm to 'whatever' cables in maplin!

I don't use ebay for stuff like this, I just don't trust it after getting ripped off too many times, so I didn't check - but I don't think ebay prices can be compared anyway according to the sites guidelines.

got feedback on the range this works at?

Sorry, didn't realise that you can't compare eBay. Generally it's not that cheap these days anyway.

Thanks for the info, I think I'll pick one up.

around 10m, depending on obstructions. I took the laptop upstairs last night and the signal dropped out, but that's probably at the limit of the 10m range with a wall and a floor/ceiling in the way.
