tried to buy a phone from e2save they said my credit card was blocked give them a ring they do this so they do not have to pay quidco or topcashback rang credit card company said card working perfect.

Most phones are unlocked from this company. Clearance phones always seem to be unlocked, but you rarely get headphones.

They have different rules and often cancel orders one address has ordered more than 2-3 phones in 3 months, or even sometimes they claim 1 year. They included CPW, e2save, onestopphoneshop, but seem to exclude mobiles.co.uk (another CPW company).

I was tempted with this phone for the wife but having read the reviews changed my mind. The reviews say it is a truly awful phone. I'm still going to give it some heat though because it's so cheap price wise.

CeX pay £19 cash for a locked one or £30 for an unlocked one if that turns out to be the case. Buy the phone, keep the topup then sell to CeX if you don't like it.

This is a horrible cheap nasty phone, but possibly worth it for this price, hmm maybe not. I briefly had one when my W760i died, I knew it wouldn't compare but it was so crap I changed it for a Nokia 5230, which has its own idiosyncrasies of crapness. The TrackID on this phone is Java based and far inferior to the implementation I had on the W760i, in so much as I thought it was useless.

I agree. The battery life on this was terrible too. There are plenty of better "cheapie" phones than this.

...Another good find Amibees...'ave some heat n Repped ya!

@allan1954, they did exactly the same to me, not only do e2save do this to break the quidco tracking, they re-processed my order at a higher price than originally bought.

Won't be using them again. I bet they also make a tidy sum from the 0871 number you have to ring to query the order... Its also random if you get the £10 credit from other peoples experiences, again another ploy to get you to ring that nice 0871 number of theres.

e2save you know we're onto U...

this phone is an utter disgrace and an embarasment to the Sony-Ericsson name. How this ever made it out of production is beyond me and even as a 1 month stop gap was a terrible phone. Hard to text, freezes, slow can only store 100 texts

If classed as an "A" grade phone - boxed, instructions, all accessories.

For a clearance phone, i've had some that just come in a plain white cardboard box, sometimes missing the headphones.

Does anyone know if this is good as a music player? If so, can you use a memory card to make it an affordable walkman alternative?

Don't worry - I've had a look at some reviews - apparently is a great music player but a rubbish phone. Upgradable to 2 Gb memory. Looks like a good replacement for my dodgy Walkman. Cheaper than buying a straightforward music player.

phone is not worh .but can consider for that price.
