correctamundo, i prefer TOPCASHBACK as they do not charge you a £5 annual fee, seems to have the same amount of cashback for each site too. no problems getting paid either, i earned over £440 last year through it. would never have known about it until somebody from HUKD explained

drink anyone?
#9
so how come nobody talks about TOPCASHBACK but QUIDCO?

Its just personal preference. I have both a/c's and I find Quidco more reliable and fast in processing payments.

Has anyone ordered one of this "clearence" phones? When you click "what is clearence", it says that they could be reconditioned, ex-demonstration or mail-order returned phones with minor cosmetics marks. Sounds like a second hand phone to me.

Clearance usually means Refurb with e2save! Had a couple before and normaly no probs.

E2save do also have a habit of Credit Card blocking. So Beware that you might need to call your bank after using them!

From web site -
Reconditioned/Clearance Stock.

By using reconditioned/clearance stock, we are able to offer you even further savings across our whole range. These products are either ex-demonstration, trial or mail-order returned. They are not flawed products although they may carry very minor cosmetic marks. For your peace of mind, each and every product has been quality inspected by our engineers and reconditioned if necessary. Each product also comes with a full, one year manufacturer’s warranty.

Please note that reconditioned products are usually repackaged once tested and do not come in the original branded box. Reconditioned handsets will be packaged with a charger and battery. Other accessories and memory cards are not guaranteed .

I'm after a new phone for the Mrs. She has a rolling contract with O2 so would I be able to pop her sim card in to this without any fuss and give the sim with £10 credit that comes with this to whoever?
#17
+ Is this a better phone than the pink Samsung they have listed for the same price?

I experienced both of what you are saying above
Bought a black clearance W205 and it had clearly been used, looks brand new but the slider doesn't click into place so if I hold it upside down it will slide apart. Phone itself works fine though, not the greatest, a bit old now, but I use it as a backup phone so its good enough for that.

When I bought it my debit card was blocked. I wonder why they do this with e2save? I got a call a couple of days after purchasing the phone, from my bank saying there was suspected fraudulent activity so as a precaution had cancelled all of my subsequent purchases! I was fuming as I almost lost a couple of other bargains I had bought (all from HUKD posts) but thankfully the retailers just kept hold of them until I got my card sorted. e2Save also gave me a ring to tell me that the card wasn't being accepted (though they never let on that it was because of them!), they seem like a decent company, the operator was very friendly and again they reserved the phone for me until payment could clear. So yes, if you buy one make sure you check with your bank to avoid any purchase cancellations.

As this is on o2 is it likely to be unlocked?

This is a totally rubbish site..entered my details correctly many times & still came up with error..are they pulling some type of scam?
#21
just placed an order went through fine without any probz

My W760i broke 6 months ago so I went to CPW and got a W205, it was horrible, so I ended up with a Nokia 5230, then the W760i started working again so my friend has that now. I suppose I just hated the fact the phone was so cheap and nasty.

allows quidco.

topashback is awesome!

Brill, was looking for this phone as a birthday pressie. Cheapest so far.

Plus http://www.topcashback.co.uk for an additional £7.50........ so essentially bringing it down to £7.49 for the phone and £10 top up!!
#29
sowotsdis - e2save is Carphone Warehouse, so they are trusted (sort of!).
#30
By the way, the title of this post needs to say 'clearance' or 'used/refurbished' as it's quite misleading.

Bought this for someone about a year ago at this price.

The phone is very plasticy and seems flimsy. But I guess for this sort of price it's ok.

I had my card blocked as well when I bought the black W205, damn nuisance, ended up having to phone the banks fraud team to sort my card out.
The phone was in as new condition, not original box and only accessory was the charger. Happy enough with the phone as it was only as a backup for the family.

e2save must have staff sitting down and click the hot button the HOLE day!

Stay away from e2save or be prepared to email its ceo! You've been warned. I was there before!
