do you mean the £16 was a trade that bought it down to the £38.71 quoted?

sorry, can you explain the upgrade allowance, was that in exchange for a phone or because you are an existing o2 customer?

    cheers!

if you are an O2 customer they give you an allowance dependending on how much you top up when you buy a a new phone

They gave me £16 credit today but i think its still a good price without the upgrade

Is it possible that the only reason that you got such a good deal is that you are a valued PAYG customer? It sounds as if it may be a one off deal that they offered you rather than a general deal. Did they make that clear?

You've got to be joking - it's got that nasty thin plastic flap on it that you usually see missing or broken/warped on every display phone in any shop you go in. It's one of the cheapest looking phones SE do.
This is still a good deal but only at this price does it looks about as expensive as it costs.

Got one in Oxford Street for my eldest daughter. £38.71 less £7.05 discount for already purchased top ups and no need to buy a £10 top up - I just gave her existing number. Thanks for the spot.
