Same price on Amazon BUT price includes VAT - Play.com prices DO NOt include VAT - they just keep 17.50% to their profit margins.

ie. they should be 17.50% cheaper than UK resellers - they re too greedy

Of course they're greedy, they're a business!

Do you expect all business' to sell at cost now?

£54 cash cex pay for this

Looks like a nice a phone. Thanks.
Took the liberty to search on ebay. A seller there is doing them new for under £50 incl. (shipped and year warranty).
I guess it depends on where or whom you want to buy from and how you're going to pay eg. paypal.

Absolute rubbish, if you're selling in to the UK, you have to pay VAT if it is a VAT rated item, regardless of where the business is located.
If the seller doesn't pay the VAT (which Play does) then the buyer pays it upon entry to the UK often the courier delivering the parcel pays it on your behalf and collects it from you upon delivery.
The only time no VAT is paid, is when a dodgy seller marks the parcel as being less than £18 or marks it as samples etc.
