Orange are offering £20 off on any phone over £30. The W810i is just £79.99 - £20 = £59.99
There is an obligitary £10 top up

Use this to get the £20 off:

company name: wincanton
company id: OPOSO
then select the £20 off offer

Hope this helps someone!

Can we get this model unlocked?
nice post btw
#2
Can you use this to get the 10% discount on monthly plans?
#3
not working...

on checkout it forgets about the £20 discount? :-(
#4
I found Codes will work only when you keep going, takes another 2 or 3 screens progressing through checkout before it shows the reduced price, however this is £69.99 as comes with mandatory £10 top up. Decent price though. Any quidco?

Well I tried to order a Samsung E370 and got the message

An error has occurred. Please try again later.

Alternatively please call Orange on 0800 079 2000 where friendly, efficient staff will take your order.

hmmm
#5
Worked OK for me, although I didn't actually buy one...
#6
This offer makes for some very cheap phones. There are several decent phones just above £30, so by the time you take off the £20 you could get some stonking bargains... Might get one for a spare! ;-)

i used this deal 3 weeks ago to get the girlfriend a samsung e370 for £29.99 + £10 top-up = £39.99, phone arrived within 3 days but they have still not giving me my £10 top-up credit yet,
i have sent many emails and made 3 phonecalls, and after being on hold for 30-45 mins i find the orange support appauling! :(

Its let me order the E370 now. Weird that you have had the problem with credit, I would email orange head office and ask them to look into it. You bought the phone with a code on the net, its upto Orange to accept the order, once they do they should apply the credit.
Email [email protected]">[email protected] or [email protected]">[email protected], send to one and cc to the other.

i have just emailed them again with the address you gave me (riker71)

I will agree with what you have said. I had exactly the same problem when I got the E370 two weeks back. The orange technical support (India ??) is the worst I have ever seen. They asked me to fax my bank statement showing the amount debited ! They had no clue as to what I was saying.

I called the 0800 number (which is on the order confirmation email) couple of days back and got it sorted finally. I would never buy a phone from them again.

Np you're welcome. I will post here if I have any problems
#12
I have to echo the above comment. I had to jump through hoops just to get the credit I'd actually paid for. I bought this phone a couple of weeks back without using the attached code. I'm very happy with the phone but beware the registration / chase up process.
#13
How Bizarre, seems to have been quite a few E370 owners with this problem! An email to the Orange exec office usually sorts things quickly.

gr8 deal m8, and welcome! Just a heads up I think the price should have been changed to £69.99 instead of £59.99 as the £10 topup is mandatory. Nevertheless steaming hot! This beats the littlewoods w810i deal simply because of the £10 for just 89p more!
#15
Orange is no more in Quidco ..

Then you'd have to change the subject to "Sony Ericsson W810i and £10 call credit £69.99"!

Orange is no more in Quidco ..

Good, they never paid out anyway, why should they get the publicity. It is basically fraud in my mind. They never track, but if you file a query and it comes up positive they only pay half. Well if they can find the transaction from a query, why didn't track in the first place?

Edit: Another well known cashback site with a forum has also suspended them.

the price should include postage and topup, it should be the complete cost to get it to your door.

Couldn't agree more.

I also ordered a Samsung E370 at the start of last week. A week and a half later, and two phonecalls later, still no phone, and they finally admitted they didn't have this phone in stock, they wouldn't be getting any, and someone should have contacted me to tell me.

This week, I've emailed them twice to ask whether the Samsung E390 is in stock (so that I don't waste my time trying to order that one instead) and they simply don't reply.

I've been in Switzerland all week, so cannot ring their 0800 number to ask.

Ironically, the email they sent to confirm the E370 order said:

> You should expect to receive your order within 2-5 working days.

[ Not true ! ]

> If there are any problems processing your order we will contact you.

[ Certainly not true ! ]

> If you have any queries about your order, please call Orange on 0800 079
> 2000. Alternatively, you can email us at "][email protected]

[ Well, yes, you can email them at this address, but they won't reply ! ]

I've given up, and have ordered the E370 on O2 for slightly less from
Littlewoods, using another HotUKDeals recommendation !!

Appalling customer service from Orange.

The future really isn't bright.

You can do it yourself on your PC as I have done using the Total Multi-Server software, 1 credit allows you to unlock the phone, buy another credit if you wish to unbrand it too (credits are £8 each) ... you also need the cable. All will be apparent if you have a look here - http://www.totalserver.net/

You can unlock the w810i with the cable supplied in the box if you use http://www.davinciteam.com/, but it will cost 30 Euros (£20.75 when I did it).

The service cable you need to use totalserver to unlock will cost about £10, so it's still cheaper to use them, and much cheaper if you intend unlocking more than one SE phone.

Unbranding is cheaper with http://www.wotanserver.com, 7 euros (£4.85 when I did it)

If websites offer over the net unlocking surely this solution has gonna be public knowledge? I'm suprised tools haven't been out to DIY unlock your phone for free e.g. the recent BB5 unlocker. Does seem a bit of a waste of money tbh

You'd think so, yes, but having trawled around the net I simply couldn't find public versions of the unlock tools. All the working tools I found required a server login with credits.

#34
i am about to order a couple of phones... when they arrive will the phones need activating? or will it work instantly so i can throw the sim card away?
#35
i bought this phone on a very similar deal, from orange a few weeks back i havent got my credit but i don't think i have paid for it so its ok as i used my old number but in response to abve psot it will come with a bar on it so unfortunately you cant just bung in an old card so you have to register the phone this took me two phone calls as after 24 hours it still wasnt workin, so phoned again and orange rep said o the other person couldnt have unblocked it idiots!
#36
actually thinking about it i have received the credit! but only the other day so like a fortnight or so after! but its there now!
#37
So has anyone tried the 10% off a contract offer with them?
#38
Ok just tried ordering a phone on contract, only problem is they sent me an email asking if i could ring them. When i did they said they needed to put the order through again as it hadnt gone through. They asked me about the 10% discount and was it friends and family or retail? anyone shed any light?
#39
I GOT THE PHONE TODAY --amazing -- had a little trouble registering it but works fine now --- i got to keep my old number and the cred should come though soon
