48 left at 9:30am.

Only one thing. Spoke to them and a chap called Ian read their internal email saying there's NO guarantee on colour. Could be either Black or Slver.

if you're not bothered about the camera, this is a great little phone.

I'm using mine as a 3g modem to write this post :)
#17
it was the o2 payg that swung it for me - been on o2 payg for many years now and would hate to change
#18
Sweet, ordered one. I already have one in Silver but need two phones and these are ideal if you need to carry a couple about as they are so damn slim. Camera's not up to much but the phone's half the size of my old k800i.

I think I prefer the silver to the black model but I'm not bothered what colour I get, at least if it's black I'll be able to tell which is the personal/business phone at a glance...

Thanks OP - heat and rep added.
#19
Should be unlocked as well as E2 Save are part of Carphonewarehouse. Brilliant deal, many thanks! :-D
#20
Ordered as on O2 already (contract not payg).

However, may give to my Mother as Xmas present. She is currently Virgin (T-Mobile). Anyone know if it is unlocked? If not, can get unlocked at any "reputable" dealer right (around £5)?! :-)

Heat added.
Cheers.
#21
DB2020 unlocking is hard to find and anything between 10 and 25 O2 payg are normally locked but sometimes e2save have generic handsets that are unlocked
#22
Just checked the last e2save thread form a few days ago for the SE K810;

http://www.hotukdeals.com/deal/51617/sony-ericsson-k810i-ivory-99-95-del

Everyone received it unlocked even though it was O2 payg!

Cool - the thread indicates most CPW payg phones come unlocked from the same pool as contract. Unbranded too!

So, fingers crossed.

PS: CPW own e2save.

Quick word of caution. Like a previous poster my card was "rejected" too. Got an email stating so. Attempted to correct online but wouldnt take it. Attempted to leave email - got bounceback!!
DODGY!

Called on the expensive landline no. (from which they get a cut). Lo and behold credit card works fine on the phone!

Then tried to sell me accessories at half price!

Further tried to bill me £4.95 admin fee - rubbish I said! "Didnt want to order via phone but wouldnt take order online!". Tried first to fob me off with a virgin sim worth £10 (not a bad offer i suppose!). Then accessories. In the end a further "call with my manager" got them to waive it completely!

Final issue - it slipped out this comes with 1 month free warranty. YOU HAVE TO CANCEL THE WARRANTY or incur an approx £12 per month charge for it!

BE WARNED FOLKS. Mine is now ordered at the original price, but I will be cancelling that warranty as soon as it arrives!

PS: they do deliver on saturdays contrary to the webite.

Hope this helps.

I went through this quidco link http://www.quidco.com/e2save-sony-eric-w880i/

£37.50 cashback makes this a very hot deal.
#27
F355 - Sounds cool.
But how so £37.50?

Quidco website states £7.50 for a payg from e2save and £36.50 for a contract.

Good spot!
#30
OK Cool. Yeah, good spot.

Just be careful - as per my anecdote, had to complete my transaction via phone due to "credit card rejected" (yeah!).

Which invalidates the Quidco "transaction must be completed wholly online".

Thought worth mentioning.
Cheers.
#31
Thanks guys, just ordered online via quidco:thumbsup: DD will be soooooo chuffed:santa: ;-)

Don't forget you have to take the £10 topup, so the total is £72. Obviously dependent on if Quidco pays out and if they have any left!

Also don't forget to rep :-D
#34
double post
#35
The link from quidco doesnt take you to the phone - when i search for it i can only find it for £159
#36
Just tried and it appears that the deal has been pulled. Now listing at 159.95

Voted hot! Good Deal. I got a great cash back deal from mobile2your door and quidco. 12 months free + quidco meant they were paying me to get the phone and contract. Sold the w800i on ebay for £120 and just ordered a replacement via e2 save and quidco.

So approx £75 cash back + £120 phone sale on ebay = £195 - £110 for replacement hand set = I'm 85 pounds up and have a new phone and free phone calls for a year :D I lvoe this site. Voted hot!

my card was declined too - but I realised I had missed 2 numbers out - I always enter my card number from memory - I realised I had missed out 2 numbers as I pressed submit

so wasn't suprised it was declined

updated my details on website and waited... nothing changed

a couple hours later I got a call from one of their reps saying they were getting invalid card - I told him to read out the number I had entered... and as I thought, I had missed out two number

so gave him the right details on the phone and it went through fine, didn't try to sell me anything else and even told me that it comes with a technical support contract that I should cancel so as not to be charged for it

said to me it would be delivered before 1pm
#39
EXPIRED now I believe.

Not too sure about the £37.50 quidco... maybe it was a typo... anyone got theirs tracked at £37.50?
#40
they tracked at £7.50, even going through the £37.50 link im afraid
