The phone costs £100 so worth it for me! Only downside is that it's a 18th month contract, but still good for a decent phone. Read More

didn't choose this one - chose an LG one instead but the whole £8.50 contract is sweet - i currently pay £10 for the 100 mins 300 texts but that's not been going for long - this is cheaper (less texts but thats no problem) with the equivelent of a free phone - if you were to pay as you go the price for 100 mins and texts it'd be waaaay more than £8.50 - signed up straight away - heat added cheers.
p.s. there's actually a lot of phones to pick from so pick what suits you best

Remember Quidco if signing up for the first time -

Virgin Mobile is one of the fastest growing mobile phone networks in the UK. Its the only mobile phone service in the UK thats been voted best customer service for 8 years in a row.

Whether you want to Pay As You Go or Pay Monthly (contract), you can take your pick from the latest mobile phones. Love the phone you've got? Then keep it and grab a great SIM only deal.

Plus, they offer Mobile Broadband with a generous download allowance and free USB modem. Talk is cheap with Virgin Mobiles packages of minutes and texts. Plus, listening to your voicemail is free in the UK on your Virgin Mobile phone. There are no peak rates and no hidden charges.

With Virgin Mobile, what you see is what you get.

For genuine tracked transactions completed wholly online, you can earn:

£60 for mobile broadband
£30 for a pay-monthly phone contract sale

Please read the following before proceeding:

No cashback is payable on monthly SIM-only contracts and PAYG offers.

No cashback is payable for Liberty SIM products.

In order to receive the cashback you must click through to the Virgin Mobile site via the provided link. It is important that you then generate a new quote and purchase directly. If the quote has been generated via another medium, the sale will not be attributed to the cashback site and you will not receive your cashback.

Mate of mine's had probs with his 910 and as for Virgin, I wouldn't touch them with a bargepole.

My 1st mobile was on Virgin PAYG. I bought a £20 top up, which didn't work. Same thing happened to my GF a few days later so I sent them off to Virgin with a letter. They replied that they didn't reimburse airtime vouchers. As far as I'm concerned, if they didn't work, they weren't vouchers, they were just bits of cardboard.

That put them top of my S**t List and I haven't bought anything from Virgin since.

why get stuck with a contract now ???? just moved over to vodafone with 10 quid for 100 anytiem mins with 300 text on payg ..

I recently bought the LG Cookie under this £8.50/month contract as my wife needed a relatively small number of minutes and texts per month so 100 of each was ample. The LG came unlocked which I sold to CEX for £69 as my wife was happy to keep her current phone, got £30 Quidco so the net cost is just £3 per month which, for her, was much cheaper than PAYG. Thought this was a good deal for what she needed.

This is a terrible deal from a terrible phone company, I would never, ever have another Virgin Mobile phone as long as I live. There are better deals to be had elsewhere from better companies.

like to see a better deal show me where you can get a £100.00 phone with 100 calls and text for just £8.50.

unless your counting paying £30 a month and trusting a cashback company :whistling:

way things are out there would not trust any of the cashback companies

Great deal - they called me up at 8.30pm last night and I ordered a LG Cookie for my daughter. It arrived today so how's about that for service.

Seems some people are never happy and want everything for nothing:whistling:

Virgin Mobile - Good Company, though customer service has become terrible now NTL have taken over. Some of the operators at the oversees call centers are rude, and don't have the fainetst clue what they're talking about. When you get through to a UK Call center though, problems are resolved well and quickly.

Sony Ericsson W910i - Bad phone, have had 3 replacements already.
