The Walkman player turns your phone into a powerful portable music device. Organize your favorite music via playlists, listen to audio books and access podcasts.

Shake Control
The easy way to change your tune: just shake your phone. With Shake control activated, press and hold the Walkman key, then flick your wrist. A vibration lets you know that the track has been changed - a new song from your current playlist is selected randomly then played automatically.

Walkman Phone
Have your favourite sounds with you - always, whenever, wherever you go. Your Walkman phone is not only a mobile phone. It's a portable music device, too.

Sadly this is what they say: We're getting fed up of writing good reviews of Sony Ericsson phones, only to be deluged by a flood of user reviews telling us that their phones simply don't work. What good is a phone that's outstanding when it works, but has such poor quality control in its manufacturer that many users receive a dud? The big problem with the W910i is freezing and switching off. Read the user reviews below to appreciate just how common this fault is. If this phone actually worked, it would be fantastic, but if it doesn't it's an expensive lump of plastic. Do you want to take the risk?

Freezing a restarting was only a problem in very early firmwares, if you buy this it will probably have the latest firmware on it, if not simply update is on SEUS or debrand it using davinci.

Newer firmwares don't crash, I own several of these phones and all are perfect.

 can I ask why do you need more than one?

The first w910i I got had about 10 stuck pixels at the top of the screen. The replacement is better in the respect it doesn't have any stuck pixels but the key membrane doesn't seem right. I am not a big fan of this phone.

The best I can say for this phone is that you can do what ever you like to the firmware by using the data cable. If you are buy Nokia, you gonna buy a seperate cable to unlock or update the firmware.

It's a great phone, to be sure, and i wouldn't put anyone off buying it. I did, however, get mine replaced yesterday due to the various problems with shutting itself down and so on even with the latest firmware. The new one has behaved itself a lot better so far but has turned itself off once.

Definitely worth a look but just be aware...

You cannot unlock for free yet, phone is too new, wait until newer software is released. There is a chance that this phone might already be unlocked because the W710i, W580i from Play.com on Vodafone was unlocked.

Thanks BadBoyTC for making sense of my ineloquent grammar, perhaps this is not the phone for me either.....the search goes on

I know this is a phone/music player first and foremost, but isn't the 2mp camera a bit mean on a fairly recent phone - or am I expecting too much from what now seems to be a fairly cheap handset?
#18
can't find it cheaper anywhere.
#19

that's on monthly deal.
