decent phone for Christmas

Ericsson Xperia X10 Mini Pro bringing a whole lot of bang for your buck. Dubbed the Mighty but Mini handset, this little bundle of joy packs a 2.55" capacitive touchscreen, full sliding Qwerty and stashes an impressive array of media gadgetry.

The 5megapixel camera comes complete with autofocus, LED flash and video capabilities, while the media player can handle a number of different file formats and throw out great quality sounds. Running Android 1.6, the Mini Pro works all the social network feeds as well as a few added treats, Gmail, Google search, talk and maps.

Does anybody know what form the airtime comes in. Is it pre loaded on the sim or a voucher that my wife could use with her current O2 sim.

Btw these can be modified to run other ROMS such as CyanogenMod 7 and making them much faster than they are :)

Really bad comments on battery life and also the battery is not replaceable as it is integrated in the phone.

Nice little phone but problems make it less desireable.

Don't know where you got that from but the battery is NOT integrated into the phone. Agree about the battery life though.

This phone isn't too bad but I wouldn't pay anywhere near this price, you'd be much better getting this

Couldn't have put it better myself..... I panicked when I saw this deal at first, as I thought it was the new version that I bought as a Chrimbo pressie for a certain young lady on the recent 02 deal... also this only has the 600mhz processor compared to the 1ghz snapdragon on the newer one.....

Shame its not cheaper as I am still awaiting delivery of my standard xperia mini at 50 quid from e2 save who are a nightmare to deal with want me yo phone their premium line ive sent email but they not answred scum

This is my phone and its excellent , i wouldnt swap it for the world , the phone itself is perfect size for the pocket and the hand , the slide out keyboard is a million times better than touch screen and always will be ,the camera is perfectly clear and much better than my fuji 8mp camera , android runs perfectly as you would expect.

Battery life is perfectly fine obviously the people who dont know how to use a phone properly will leave bluetooth and wireless on all the time which will drain your battery no matter what brand phone ( 3 Android phones in this house , samsung , lg , se and an iphone please feel free to argue).

Without wireless turned on mine lasts 3 days without charge exactly the same as the daughters LG and the wifes Samsung.

Phone is obviously dated , its a year or so old and it tech terms thats old if you listen to the monkeys.

The only "down side" is the smaller screen , fortunately im not 70 and my eyesight is relatively perfect so for me its not an issue.

Remember this is a phone NOT a tablet.
