He's probably talking about this. While they're very similar in other respects, this deal is for the Pro, which has a slide-out qwerty keyboard and is normally a lot more expensive.

Hmm... The SF is really good hardware for the price but this is more stylish, smaller and arguably better built. If you want to get the most out of Android, get the SF (great screen and the resolution means almost any app will work) but if you want a small, fun phone the X10 Mini Pro isn't bad at all.

My daughter has this phone and loves it .... but it is faulty and away for repair & googling shows that it has a lot of faults that SE seem to be ignoring - in particular if the battery gets really low it will refuse to charge or boot or do anything! Oh and like most smart phones that battery life is atrocious...but is is a lovely wee phone!

You will absolutely hate this phones battery life when you use it for the first couple of days.

However, after some battery calibration, in one charge, I have got an astonishing 60 hours out of this.

Had one for a week. Facebook app stopped updating, didn't pull new notifications and just threw errors and the battery life was pretty much done by the time I got home from work. Keep in mind, I turned auto updates off and rarely took phone calls during the day.

It's quite fat for a phone of this size, can't be helped because of the keyboard.

Screen resolution is low so text looks a bit fuzzy.. wasn't very happy with that, the low battery and especially the broken facebook app.

Not bad for the price, try before you buy.

nice fine but for the phone itself i think just waste of money

This is a great phone! It does need skinning with something like adw.launcher which makes it a lot more useful. Add on Dolphin Browser and the 2.1 update and it's brilliant! Shame it's not easily unlockable. It's been my favourite Android handset so far. I had it at the same time as the HTC Desire, and sold the Desire! For those wondering whether to get this or the San Francisco. - the SF is slightly more powerful and has a bigger screen, the Mini Pro is smaller, and has a very good keyboard.

cuz phone is not good,i would prefer SF on this.......i do like sony E but i dono y they are lacking good interface now a days........

Screen res seems a bit low, 320x240, same as my old k800i. San francisco seems a better buy unless you want the better camera/physical keyboard.

A very literate point?

This is a good price for what it is, but really let down by the screen size. What's the point even having Android on a screen this small?

2.1 update was fine with me also manage to get 4+days on standby great little phone.

Which network are you with? I am with T mobile and have not seen any notifications of 2.1 yet.

I believe Vodafone provide free unlocks for existing pay monthly customers. Might be worth getting a SIM-only 30-day deal for £10. ; )

EDIT: £19.99 to unlock via Vodafone but free if you have a pay monthly SIM

Alternatively you can get it from here mobiles.co.uk on an 18 month T-mobile contract for £20 p/m. 12 months are free via redemption, and there's £50 quidco cashback, so that's just £70! The phone's unlocked as well, so will work with any network.

What kind of battery calibration? I think I'm getting one of these for my 21st birthday and my current phone has over 300 hours stand by time so I'm thinking this might be quite a shock.

It is as simple as a phone call??
