  I've got the DCR-TRV240E and the battery will certainly fit that. For a genuine Sony battery that's a cracking price.

  What I can't understand is why the near identical DV cam accessory pack has a different battery model listed - one I can't find listed at all on Sonys website. And at a 'reduced' price of £39 it makes that a very expensive DV tape and this even more of a bargain.
