These are great for people who value picture quality. Lots of chavs here with £1 cables connected to the 50"tvs in the tiny council house sitting rooms.

Get a life you idiot.

What does that mean? can your bravia ondemand tv share a connection with your PS3 ? Not seeing much reference to it

but anyway sounds awesome

Yeah, if you have an internet TV and PS3 or Blu-Ray with ethernet then this HDMI can carry internet to TV

All of these are hideously over-priced.

Conclusive research shows that cables under 2m really don't matter when it comes to getting full 1080p e.g. http://www.audioholics.com/education/cables/long-hdmi-cable-bench-tests/hdmi-cable-testing-results

Something like http://www.amazon.co.uk/AmazonBasics-Speed-Cable-Ethernet-Meters/dp/B003L1ZYYM/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1307656748&sr=8-1
would do fine.

Pivot cable:

You really only need to spend more money if you're running more than 2m of HDMI through your walls or more than 10m total. Otherwise just buy what's reviewed to work and cheap...

you really need to read up on hdmi cables! Haha. As already said, along as the cable is structurally sound it will do perfectly fine for under 10m lengths, so if you get a 1m cable from the pound shop and it holds together you literally will see no difference in picture quality compared to a £100 monster cable. Bit like saying a more expensive tv stand will get you a better tv picture.

I'll heed what Digital Foundry have to say as opposed to the experts on hotukdeals.com http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/digitalfoundry-vs-hdmi
