Argos have this HD camcorder at £499.99 which seems a good price looking around. I am tempted but cant justify a purchase.

Who needs justification. HUKD has cost me a fortune!!

Where did you manage to find one instock?
Great price if you can find any, but reports of serious motion artefacts in recorded video would still put me off. Give the technology a few more years...
I have managed to find one in stock in Bradford but having read the reviews it seems that there isn't much software that will edit AVCHD and you will need a blue-ray to play it....I have the software but not sure if 30GB will be enough for me. Will not support disc menu's I don't really think I'm going to go for it.
If anyone wants the reservation number please pm me.
