I'm looking at the Panasonic HDC-SD60 (£316 on Amazon) or £343 from COMET . . . trying to also take advantage of the free 32GB SD card offer from Panasonic, but will have to wait until I call them tomorrow to see if Comet is on their retailer list

I was also looking at the above SONY, but the Panasonic looks / reviewed better

The SD-60 does NOT come with 3 year warranty as its only selected older models. However Comet DOES qualify for the SD card offer as i only done it 2 weeks ago. The sdhc is a Panasonic Silver class 4 but its more than enough and keeps up well with the writing of HD content. No lag and pretty damn quick even though class 4... i fully tested it. These cards are roughly £90-£120 new (genuine panny 32GB) so its worth NOT going for the £50 cashback but get the card as you wont regret it. I have tested a class 10 against this panny card and cant notice much difference, as you would expect from genuine panny in a panny cam.

Any advice drop me a line... btw the SD60 is a mighty damn good cam and highly recommended. Get it quick from Comet... use the 5% off code floating on here, and also dont forget quidco. Oh and lastly the mem card/cashback offer HAS to be done via click and collect from Comet. DO NOT order home delivery or claim will be refused ;-)

hopefully just got myself a nice wee deal . . .

8% discount on anything in Comet, via "youatwork" scheme told them Item Value, they deduct 8% ask you to pay there and then, they send you a text with a code for the "whole value" so I can purchase in store - works like paying by a Gift Card . . .

will hopefully have my Panny SD this afternoon, then whisk off the receipt copy for my free GB card - called Panansonic, they confirmed store receipt is fine . . all good hopefully
