I got this from Amazon several months ago. Great sound for the price and I also connected a Belkin bluetooth receiver to it and now play most of my music through it from my phone/tablet/laptop.
Heat!

never had a soundbar but like the idea of less space being taken up but would you say they are basically like having a good tv speaker like CRT tvs used to have or is the quality now practically as close enough to a seperate surround system?
#8
Nothing like surround sound, but it's a great quality 2.1 system, far better than a CRT TV would have ever been

£125 in my local Asda :(

You can get the BT version brand new from the likes of Gumtree they are bundled with new TVs so people sell em off.

You can pick this up for £89.99 in Argos or £110.00 from Richer Sounds for the bluetooth version if you cant get hold of this Asda deal.

I bought mine (mainly for the World Cup) because my LG telly sound is so tinny i cant hear speech no matter how high the volume was and was having to use subtitles!

For regular TV programs its quite wonderful being able to finally hear the sounds the way they were meant to be. When watching DTS blu ray movies the sound and bass in particular are remarkably punchy.

Turning off the bar made my TV speakers sound like telephone speakers. My only gripes are that it comes with yet another remote and it can only be turned on with that remote. If you lose it you wont be able to operate it. It might be different if you have a Sony TV.

What about a logistics all in one remote? That must have the power on it command in its database?

You can program your Sky remote to operate the sound bar (on/off, volume up/down, surround on/off). Haven't got the link but it's easy to find on Google. I've done it with mine. Great soundbar.

None in St. Helens, Wigan or golborne.

If anyone is interested, this bar is compatible with a Sky remote. Now ive stored away the dinky one that came with it and use the Sky remote to turn in on/off volume controls. There is a code out there. Its not 2200 as mentioned but if anyone needs me to dig it out I'll be happy to oblige - once again, this is an excellent quality sound bar for the money!

presume there is more chance of finding flight MH370 than any of these on a asda shelf?

I'm guessing that this deal is gone into the woods ?

I actually saw the Bluetooth version for £110 in Sainsbury's today. Not quite the same deal but still a good price for a great soundbar and nectar points too.
