Do you think this might be a mis-price? intended to be £289.99?
#2
I wouldn't hang about to find out at this price, bargain by the looks of it!

This is actually from a Marketplace seller which is not allowed even if it is a great price!

Admin is actually allowing some marketplace deals now - if the retailer has been MOD reviewed and they have good feedback, trading history etc we will allow obviously subject to further member feedback, thanks again.

Great deal, if it is honoured, however, those looking to buy and plumbing SKY HD via HDMI through it, please read the product reviews on Amazon.

I Have BT Vision, so no bother there, and I believe having done a quick google trawl, Virginmedia is good to go.

You are seeing the next highest seller; the market-place seller who had it at £189.99 has obviously sold out.

When Sony stoops to the level of spouting misleading figures like "1000W power", first dreamed up by the likes of Alba, then is there any difference?

thanks for clearing that up does that make it impossible to upgrade the speakers in the future then?

You can get the same model for @199 in sony centres. Is it worth to pay 10 pounds more and buy from sony centre? (longer warranty or something like that?)
#25
back to £181 plus postage
#26
Perfect timing - thanks.

My major gripe with this unit is it doesn't have a headphone socket. Otherwise I'd probably have bitten the bullet and brought it.
#28
I dont like the idea routing all cables towards to the sub
#29
this is £199 in sony centres for those who dont want to wait and do it online.. is in leeds anyway

there great units really, rig it up to anything you want, amp is in the sub, you can put the speakers where ever you want, hang them on screws or ceiling mount with brackets, same set of speakers as the which best buy bdve370 i believe

Bought this set myself, works brilliantly and sounds great, bizarely arrived Sunday, supports the new HDMI 1.4 standard for 3D output, and requires no seperate A/V Receiver as the sub has the AMP and can take a variety of inputs from various sources, and supplies a single output to a TV.

Included radio feature is nice, but already have Sony DAB hifi so wont really use that feature myself, handy anyways. Rear speakers can be made wireless using a special transmission unit (seperate purchase) which places in the back of the sub, however word to the wise...reading up on it, the wireless module costs a fortune (around 130 quid) and supplies another small amp/power unit for the rear speakers to wire into. Whilst avoiding the need to run cables across the room you still have to run them at the back for the rear speakers and use another power socket. For the cost that upgrade does not seem worth bothering with and i'll be sticking with the supplied cables for the rear speakers.

Otherwise excellent system with and brilliant sound quality very sharp.

Plenty places selling for £199, nothing special this deal.

As someone said, the HDMI control through telly is NOT compatible with Sky HD but it will connect through Optical. Just need to use the remote included rather than control it through Bravia telly.
