£84.99 at Currys

Good price - Amazon do the same (£84.99) when they have them in-stock themselves, but I noticed yesterday they were not expecting stock until mid-January and it is not even available to pre-reserve today (I'm wanting to wait on amazon as have loads of bespoke vouchers available giving an effective 50% off).

Currys been selling it a penny cheaper for some time now. Free delivery or click and collect from store.

Still a good deal though and gives you buying power to choose which supplier you want.

Not sure I would buy from them, but it's £79.99 on RGB direct. http://www.rgbdirect.co.uk/Productquickview.asp?SKUNumber=121850

I just got this from Sainsbury's for £89 and I love it. Great sound quality. Highly recommended.

What if you don't want a surround sound system - ever think of that?
#13
Got one of these the other day, it was the same price on Amazon, really pleased with but be warned the Soundbar is rather long.
#14
Also now out of stock.

I had a semi decent Home Cinema Surround setup and I have found this to be far more suitable for my needs and a lot less clutter and wires.
Horses for courses, you pays your money and makes your choice, and other clichés that counteract your incredibly narrow minded view point (moron)

I got this same bar for my gf a few weeks ago, I know sound settings are subjective and depend on room layout but I got best results with treble on 3 of 10, bass on 7 of 10 and surround sound switched on, if this helps anybody.

if you wanna spend a wee bit more you should go for This One LG NB3530A

I got one of these free with my new TV. Seems a nice bit of kit (plan to use in family room as we have surround in the main room so I haven't tested it yet). One warning is that the subwoofer connects via an odd cable (it's quite long but doesn't look like it can be extended)

Michaejib how do you know that treble s 3 and bass on 7 ?
There is just + and - on my remote and nothing on screen to go by.

When at the lowest or highest setting the lights will flash on the Soundbar - So I guess you just got to count your presses after that.

Good to see

Try again. Good to see it hasn't lost it's value much. I bought this a year ago for £95. Decent quality but can be quiet

I got them with the sony w829 tv when amazon were doing the free soundbar and have been impressed with the output from them - unless you are looking at spending 200 or thereabouts to get better sounds, for most cases this should do the job nicely. Easy connections as well, IMHO.

I have this, absolutely great, brilliant base and treble.

The connection is optical, although digital co-ax and phono are available, there is no hdmi!
Connect to TV to avoid sync issues

Main disadvantage is due to the no hdmi, there is no display to tell you your settings like bass, volume, etc, you have to do it by ear

no, I have this model, just counted from the lowest settings like others have said, it'll blink all the lights when you get to lowest or highest setting, there are ten in total I counted.
