I was looking at this the other week, a real pain that you can't copy of recordings to PC/Laptop, you need to spend a good £35 - £40 upwards to get a facility like that for recordings...

Seems a bit pointless if you can't get your recordings from it.

I've got one of these. It's superb and as I only use it to record meetings in work I don't need to save the recordings to a PC.

Yes you can.............just hook up a cable with 3.5 inch jack either end and attach to the soundcard jack connection (Headphone connection) and download Audacity software...........simple. You can even export and convert the recordings to mp3 or Wav e.c.t.

I got this from the bay http://****.co.uk/1-5M-3-5MM-JACK-3-5MM-JACK-AUDIO-AUX-MP3-IPOD-CABLE-/200563681660?pt=UK_Computing_CablesConnectors_RL&hash=item2eb286e97c

Easy.

Out of curiosity, how many hours do the batteries last? It mentions "long battery life" but no mention of how many hours.

I imagine the lack of a USB connection is the reason why these are quite cheap compared to others.
