Free delivery?... of unknown amount! Certainly not very obvious if it is quoted there. As for being free well :
"8 All prices on our website are exclusive of delivery charges which will be added at the checkout. Delivery charges are for most of mainland United Kingdom. Some Scottish Highlands and remote rural areas of the United Kingdom may incur additional charges and also longer delivery dates, as will deliveries to inner city areas that have charges for entering. Morning/afternoon and Saturday delivery dates are optional and will incur additional charges. Please e-mail us for a quotation."

It is little dearer in many places which DO show delivery costs, so not really any sort of deal one way or the other unless delivery is free

I have this very item, bought for under ten quid at Tesco, instore a good while ago, (shows at 11.68 now online, so I have no idea if it is still around instore) the £29.99 price is sheer fantasy, and even for Sony, is comical! It is a ten quid clock radio, OK, that's all there is to say about it, maybe a bit too bright, as it lights the room up.

Sorry but these were available at Asda for £2 about a month ago reduced from £8 or something, and I'd guess they still have them. They had a pile at the Reebok stadium (literally hundreds).

I can't understand why anyone needs a clock radio in this day and age?

Why? Much more convenient than a mobile phone I'd say.

Looks like one I bought in '91!

Of course people need clock radios, I hate having to use my phone as an alarm when I'm away. You can never find it, its not easy to see the time without moving and it could go flat!

Each to their own but I would rather have a small phone charger to carry than a clock radio. And of course it wont go flat when it is plugged in. :)

Ignoring the product, this is Beyond Television - aka Reliant Direct who have the worst customer services in history.
