Heat. It might get voted cold because of the price but for those that are serious about photography then use a real high quality camera not an iPhone or an Android for it.

How can it be a deal when the is no stock?

Also, why does it have this on the website:

"PLEASE NOTE THAT OUR CHECKOUT HAS BEEN DISABLED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE
PLEASE CALL 01803 852400 TO PLACE ALL ORDERS"

?

Doesn't inspire confidence.

Isn't the checkout comment a bit worrying?

Are they a reputable site?

No disrespect intended towards your post.

Thank you.

Yes I agree, they have been around for a long time though and are a reputable company as far as I know.
Some reviews here..

Could someone tell me the cheaper alternative E-MOUNT lenses for A-6000? I already have a 18-50 with me.

They have the Mk1 listed at £1649

This seems like a 'too good to be true' kind of deal. That's £600 below the lowest I found 3 months ago. I'm in the market but I think I'll hold off

Hate to break it too you but the guys at Jessops lied. The cost of your camera (and size of your lens ;)) has nothing to do with how serious you are.

What do you find limiting about your current lens? What sorts of photography do you like to do, or want to do, most?

The sigma 19, 30 and 60mm are good for e-mount. The 30/1.4 is very good but costs double
The 30/2.8 is very good and so is the 60mm but a bit long for indoors.
It is very easy to use old manual lenses on Sony cams - the live view let's you see exactly what you are doing and adapters cost 5-10 quid. Not so easy for kids, sports and moving subjects.

Mostly the more serious photographers have the more expensive cameras & lenses but that is not to say you can't take great photos with a phone; its just generally easier with a dedicated camera and you will get better results.

The weak link is always going to be the person behind the camera. All a more expensive camera gaurantees you is "better quality" crap pictures. Retailers and those who have dropped several grand in search of an ounce of talent will ofcourse beg to differ. ;)

Sony was affected by the Kuanamoto earthquakes maybe contributing to the delay

Have you ever used a good camera ? To some it's a hobby and brings more pleasure using a better camera besides the improvements it's brings in the pictures. Better cameras tend to be easier to use as well. But if you're happy with your phone then no need to change.

A camera is just a tool, the more you study photography and the more you take pictures and understand what makes a good picture (not snapsots) the better photographer you will be..... so a camera that is to easy to use can over time help to make you a better photographer.

and don't forget camera bodies are relatively cheap compared to lenses; as that is where people drop the real money....

sounds like the sel55210 is your only real choice (your lens is 16-50 btw)
iirc you were looking at it for months - must have been a reason for that - no other cheap lens will give you then same usage
if you decided you dont need reach then instead of asking what lens you should get you need to start thinking about what functionality you actually want as its all going to be opinion
