Lol, been tryin to post this for the last g0d-knows how long but people kept interrupting me.

Here's what I'd written...

e2save have the fabulous Sony Ericsson K610i with 12 months free line rental charged at just on a 12 month contract (after cashback) on Three (Hutchinson 3G). For £0 (after cashback), you get the Nokia 6630 (for FREE!!), 12 months line rental (after which you may cancel), 400 x-net mins, 250 texts, 25 video mins and 25 multimedia messages every month on 3's Video, "Talk & Text 700" tariff.

**Also availablt on Video, Talk and Text 1100 but with just 10 months free instead of 12.**

The Sony Ericsson K610i is a small and slim 3G phone, weighing just 92g and measuring 45 x 102 x 17mm. It has a 2 megapixel camera, advanced media capabilities, Bluetooth and Memory Stick Micro card slot. The K610i has an integrated music player with built-in equaliser and expandable memory up to 1 GB. The supplied software makes it easy to manage your music and transfer music files from your PC to the phone.

This offer works by cashback which you claim from e2save.com at specified intervals. If you wish you can purchase via QuidCo.com who will give you a whopping £36.50 in extra cashback, meaning that you can make a PROFIT of £36.50!! Itemised billing with Three if FREE of charge. Remember to cancel the insurance if you don't want it as it's quite expensive. As usual, send claims recorded/special delivery as soon as you get the bill and you'll be fine. e2save are owned by the CarPhone Warehouse and our users have found their cashback reliable.

right im probably going for this, just curious about the whole contract thing... if i spend say 500 mins for the first month, will i have 800 + 300(unspent) minutes for the second months?

also do the T&C change a lot with e2save?
1 Like #5
hmmmm, i think i might go for this :) thanks for posting.

dont think it's unlockable though.... not that i can see anyway..... well, not free anyway
#6
reply to tom_rayner: minutes do not rollover, so I'm afraid you'll lose them if you don't spend them!
#7
12 months free deal no longer listed?

next best is 11 months free.
#8
Ah well, still a great deal. :-D
#9
free K610i's annoy on 12month free rentals annoy me
Why?
Cos K610i is £200 simfree, the K800i (which I want) is £250 simfree but best I have seen is 10months half price ie £360 cashback vs. £150 cashback... retailers obviously milking the market knowing ppl want this phone, thats my moaning and whining done... [/rant]
#10
hurrah.

i rang up e2save originally just to clarify points on porting my number over. I ended up buying from them over the phone - so obviously no quidco. but they did give me 12 months free :D plus free postage (usually £3.99 over phone).
#11
best deal for k800i is 8 months free at £8.99 at e2save

Three Network don't allow you to carry over unused minutes or Texts. :-(

Soz, I don't know about your other question.
#16
damn i've just ordered the phone with 11 months free... do you think i can ask them to change it to the 12 months free? ahh if only i had waited another hour!

Return it and re-order.
You have a 7 or 14 day 'cooling' off period under the DSR.

You could phone then.
[admin]#18
You could try phoning but they're probably closed. Just order the second one now on the 12 months free and then call up in the morning to cancel the 11 month one. That way you're guaranteed to get it if they go out of stock before morning.
#19
i won't get charged or anything will i? its 6h30 they say they close at 7h... oh well.

You should NOT get charged. I had to pay the return postage on a mobile I returned. It cost about £5.50 Special Delivery.
[admin]#21
No you won't get charged and it shouldn't ship if they've closed already (or when did you order the first one?). You just have to cancel it in the morning. If the call center is still open though it will be easier to call them right now.
#22
it was closed already. can i phone them tomorrow morning or will it be shipped already? perhaps i could ask them to give me a free accessorie ;)
[admin]#23
Depends when you ordered I guess and how safe you want to play it and how much hassle you want. I don't know if they will adjust in the morning, it probably depends on whether the deal is still live then.
#24
ok cool, i guess quidco will just compensate for it... thanks anyway
#25
huh, i think i might return mine too, the extra £30+ is worth going for IMO.
[admin]#26
I think it's only for tonight though Discogod so you would need to order it now and then cancel/return the other one.

I've been with '3' for over 5 years, no real problems and good value for money.
I'm also with T-Mobile and Orange as well but 3 are my favourites
#30
thanks for the reassurance :)

Just to bolster what dino said, 3 are fine these days and have learned their lessons from earlier years and compared to how some networks operate means 3 are not at the bottom when it comes to overall service, the only thing lacking for 3 is their 3 masts which need to get properly and fully rolled out, otherwise they are a fine network.

They started off by 'piggy backing' on O2 Network but now I only have a few 'dead' spots.
Three C/S told me they have loads of masts going up in November.
#33
New masts which will probably reduce dependancy on Orange and the massive aquirement of new stores + http://www.mobiletoday.co.uk/content/15038.asp?men=2&sub=6
all means hopefully Three will finally properly become the 5th network by next year, more competition = a good thing I hope

got mine, delivered today as promised.

one thing i have noticed, the paperwork with the phone shows 11 months free with an auto cheque of £83 after 2 months but all my confirmation emails show 12 months free with an auto cheque of £118. i have logged into the customer service part of the website and all seems ok with the specifice details below relating to my contract. in my opinion the customer log in area is really good which can be revisited to check details

don't forget to cancel your phone insurance 3 Months FREE Insurance (£5.99 pm thereafter, can be cancelled)
VIP Handset Support Helpline FREE for 1 month (£2.35 thereafter).
best to do it straight away as you will forget to after!.

(don't like the way the insurance says can be cancelled but the support doesn't!. should be able to though)
#38
i got 2 phones , one said 11 months and my mums had nothing. just phoned to make sure and the lady said input details were wrong and changed them. took 20mins to get through though.
phoned this number 0800 0496032
#39
If you ring the company now, you should be able to get 12 months free with an extra £50 cashback. go go gooooooooooooo>>>>>>> 0800 0496032

personally, not worth it for me as i already got another phone on the way with £36.50 quidco & i can't be doing with returning that aswell! They're looking into whether or not they can cancel my 2nd (web) order. Hopefully have resolution soon.

woo... update.

i spoke to the company again & mentioned this great deal. after an hour or two they got back to me & said they'll add anothe £20 to my 2nd (web) order so i've effectively matched the deal they're offering over the phone. wow :D

On a side-note the guy mentioned that they offer £20 if you refer a friend to them (and they order). Is this something we could perhaps persue on here?

details copied from their website:

[*]When your friend contacts us, they will need to state at the beginning of the call that you referred them to us.
