At that price I would go for the 37" purely for the bigger screen more than the resolution.

However, there is no reason I can see why this would be no good for the PS3. Its made by Sony after all.

100/200hz would be better, but you wont get that at anywhere near this price point.

You won't get much slimmer unless you go for LED/+backlit.

Probably unnoticeable on a 32" TV.

40"+ then its might make a difference.

This is a fantastic price I don't need a TV but at this price it very hard to resist and when Tesco's own **** Techinka is more money there's defiantly something wrong with there sales team. I find it hard to believe there's 4xhdmi's on it though

Full HD on a 32" isn't that noticeable when gaming or watching hd content. But it is noticeable if your using it as a computer monitor connected via HDMI/VGA

Does it really matter if going onto a stand ?

Trouble is with these slim TV's they have poor sound, give me a thicker TV than enables them to have better speakers anyday
#18
I own this television and have it mounted in our kitchen - does the required job perfectly. Picture needs setting up (like all lcds) so worth spending some time gettign setting to how you like them. The built in freeview gudie is good but text is small, so if your gonna be a fair distance away be sure to have your glasses on!!!

Only other point and I think this is with most sonys - the damn thing seems to take an age to turn on, minor point really but annoying if you realised your fav show has aleady started.

I bought this TV last time it was on offer and it's well worth the money, bargain IMO. I'm using it as a bedroom TV.

Plays Divx & Xvid straight from USB stick if anyone's interested.

We bought one of those cheapy Technica TVs from Tesco - paid £127 for 19", flatscreen with built in Freeview, HD ready and USB drive - even came with a 4GB Sandisk flash drive. That was off the shelf (though if you go through Quidco and pick up from their store you can get even cheaper).

That may do the trick and save you nearly £100. Just a suggestion. Otherwise this looks pretty good for a Sony.

But... it's not far off half the size of this TV.

This Sony 32 inch1080p with HD tuner and iplayer/you tube capability is well worth the extra £90 if you can afford it. .....and if can can still find any stock in store.

Nonsense, depends on viewing distance to the screen, not screen size alone.

Nonsense. I't depends on source material (if 1080p and how good) and how far you are sitting from the screen. Not on screen size alone and whether using it as a monitor.
