BUYER BEWARE- Awful customer service, keep you on the phone for hours waiting, fail to call you back when promising.

Secondly waited four days at home for delivery - failed to turn up on each occassion.

An absolute nightmare of a company to deal with.

Too bad you had a bad exp but many others will completely disagree. If you check out this post, you will see the karma that they received for not only honouring a mis-price but the del they gave on those were fine.

I have got it, a very decent TV. DivX,Xvid from USB,great sound,fast EPG

The ex301 is not on the sony vat back list check the list yourself it is not all 32" sonys only select one but you can still get the quidco equivalent

Bunch of amateurs. I would strongly advise against this company.

They have taken my money a month ago, and this is their latest e-mail to me (received today), after weeks of lying to me, stringing me along etc

"I am very sorry to hear of the experience you have had with this ongoing issue.
You item is in stock and had been packed ready for delivery on the 23rd November, however DHL currently have a large backlog caused by the adverse weather and have so far been unable to collect your delivery from our distribution centre.

Because of this we cannot give and exact date of dispatch and delivery.

We are working closely with DHL to resolve this issue and I apologise for the inconvenience this has caused to yourself. "


So basicly they're saying it's DHL's fault.

Utterly ridiculous. Don't ruin your Christmas waiting for these to deliver.

this is not eligible for vat back, think it might be running at 299 in sony centres real soon so u get ur 5yr warranty for that.. not too sure though

Just replied to them

How ridiculous.

To blame this whole mess on DHL is utter nonsense.

A contract exists between yourselves and I. What DHL and you get up to is not my concern.

I paid for a service, and I expect it to be dealt with accordingly. It hasn't, and you are stringing me along.

Please explain to me why you can't use another courier, or Royal Mail to deliver my item that I ordered and paid for A MONTH AGO!?


Can anyone point me in the right direction to go legal with this? I'm fed up of wasting my time. I've spent more than what the item was worth purely on phone calls. Not to mention the multiple e-mails I've had to send.

Yeah, I could understand if something was a couple of days, no problem.

But to be told it's been sat in a warehouse for over 3 weeks seems a bit much.

I've ordered dozens of items since then and got all of them. I've ordered items on Monday and Tuesday of this week and still received them already.

Tempted, seriously tempted...though I have a question, I understand this is able to play DivX and Xvid but would it happen to be able to play MKV too?

You've had one bad experience, but carried on ordering dozens of items from them without an issue. If they were so bad, why did you carry on ordering? Bloody amateurs who can't control the weather or the actions of a courier, how dare they even be in business ;-)

Shame this is a basic model with no HD tuner or full HD screen. But you can't have it all for this price.

Btw. Sony doesn't allow any of their tv's to play mkv

Best Buy suggest you give them a wide berth............long phone call hold ons plus....some credit card companies ...are not authorising payment for this site. Best Buy staff are making this claim because this is a relatively new site.........waste of time in my opinion

im one of those guys who had a good experience, i wanted to return a TV, phoned bestbuy, instantly spoke to a nice lady who had it all sorted out within 5 mins, i got my refund 2 days later
